"Good value in great location" Needing a break from big resorts and spas, my wife and I stayed at the Dream during a 3-night stay in Bangkok on our honeymoon. Dream's location - down a little side-street in Sukkumvit, right near the sky train - was really excellent. The big hotels on the river are far from clubs and restaurants, and Koh San road is really only a backpacker scene. Sukkumvit is where you want to stay if you want to tour, eat, and party without traveling too far. Dream Hotel is a self-consciously trendy boutique a la the W Hotels. It flaunts its kitsche with blue neon lights everywhere (including the bedroom) and lots of loud colors. "Cozy" and "luxurious" are not words that come to mind. Like the W, the regular rooms are very small. We upgraded to a suite, which was much better, although the leather couch was cooler looking than it was comfortable. If you need any space to move around at all, we highly recommend the suite. The staff at the Dream was very nice, although (not unlike other hotels in Thailand) they do tend to hover and appeared to have an agenda when it came tailor/restaurant recommendations. Oh, and don't forget to return their umbrellas - they'll stalk you if you forget. The breakfast in the restaurant bar was good - fixed meals served off a menu instead of buffet. We ordered room service one night - it was so-so but not outlandishly pricey. Our suite was on the 3rd floor, right above the 2nd floor bar. On Saturday night there was a "salsa night" party that, although we were told would end by midnight, went until 12:30 or 1 am. It was loud, but not unbearable. Consider asking for a high floor if you want to get to sleep at a reasonable hour. (As far as we could tell, there aren't especially nice views from anywhere in the hotel, so that isn't a factor.) The bathroom was clean and nice but not at all private. It was closed off from the rest of the room by a sliding door that was paper thin and didn't completely shut. Also, the shower was open to the rest of the bathroom. (This was a recurring theme at our hotels in Thailand - not sure why.) All in all, Dream is fantastic if you want a reasonably priced room to crash in after you eat, drink, and party in Bangkok. For creature comforts and privacy, go elsewhere.

"Great Room, Great Staff, Great Breakfast, Great Hotel!" We stayed here for 4 night and would thoroughly recommend it for anyone that want to spend the extra baht on a luxury environment. Our room was very new with slick design, furniture and plasma TV to suit. The shower was awesome as well. The breakfast choice is very good and definitley worth having. The taff were helpful and friendly. Only slight grievance is that the hotel bar is very expensive and there's only one Mac (which is free to use) for getting on the web with.

"Great hotel" This was the most luxurious hotel that we stayed in during our 17 nights in Thailand. We spent 4 nights here and felt really comfortable and happy with the Dream. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was a little small but very clean and comfortable. The only real complaint would be the glass sliding door to the bathroom/toilet which didn't really provide much in the way of privacy. The breakfast was fantastic every morning, but we did notice that the tablecloths in the restaurant weren't always totally clean. All previous reports in relation to the comfort of the bed and linen are accurate - probably the most comfortable pillows we can remember ever sleeping on. The location of the hotel was good, and it was really close to the Skytrain station. The deal we got through Expedia was super cheap and we certainly got value for money spending less than AU$100 per night to stay at the Dream.

"Friendliest hotel in Bangkok!" We loved this hotel. Not bad location at all. Skytrain+metro line is just a few min walk which makes going around in Bangkok much easier. The hotel is modern, feels kind of sexy... Rooms are not big but nice designed, great bed, a lot of space to hide the suitcases and other stuff. Good breakfast ( a la carte, so there is no breakfast buffet which I found very nice). The gym is small but with good machines and enough to have a good workout. The hotel staff is really friendly and very helpfull. Our return flight was late so we asked for late check out. That was no problem at all and without any discussions ( like in other hotels) they offered late check out. Just before going to the airport, after we came back to pick uo our bags, they offered us to take shower at their gym. Great service and great team work! Definately coming back to this place!

"Uber Cool" We stayed at the Dream hotel for 4 nights and were not dissapointed The hotel is in a fantastic location and oozes sexiness and class As soon as you arrive you know you are not going to be dissapointed A truley original boutique hotel with a plush entrance a reception area,with freindly staff,beautiful furniture and internet access The bed rooms are modern with beautiful furniture and one of the best beds I have ever slept in.Features include a 42 inch plasma,an amazing mini bar with everything you will ever need,and slippers and robes which were a nice touch. The bathrooms are well equiped with a great shower,quality products and plenty of towels.The only downside is that the bathroom is not as private as it should be Although we did not try the restaurant at night,the breakfast was absolutly fantastic,one of the best i have ever had,with quality produce and plenty of choice. We paid only £45 a night,which is unbelivable value for such a quality hotel,and we cant wait to return
