"you MUST stay here!!!"
We stayed at the Hotel du Bois for a treat at the end of a 2 month cycle-touring holiday. We turned up at the hotel at 10am tired and dirty after an overnight train ride from South of France and the hotel staff were so friendly and helpful. They let us wheel our bikes through to the back of the hotel where they locked them in the storage room for us. Our room was lovely, with a small window overlooking the quaint street and a window box of geraniums - perfect! The location of the hotel is great - plenty of restaurants close by and also a couple of metro stops within a few mins walk. The breakfast was really nice and laid back, with delicious pastries. We'd definitely stay there again and would recommend it to everyone!

"Great stay at Hotel Du Bois"
Just spent the weekend at the Hotel Du Bois, off the Ave Victor Hugo, within a few minutes walk of the Arc de Triomphe and Etoile Metro. It's always a pleasure to stay at this Hotel, the rooms are lovely, so clean and comfortable, the breakfast is very good with plenty of choice and the reception staff are very friendly, pleasant and helpful, I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Paris. You can walk to the Eiffel Tower in about 20mns along Avenue Kleber and there are numerous places to eat and drink in the area, the Champs Elysee is 5 minutes away, the Air France bus drops you off at Ave Carnot which again is literally 5 minutes walk away and Ave Victor Hugo has some beautiful shops too. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone looking for a central location with comfort and friendliness at an affordable price.

"Wonderful hotel!"
I have to say, after an awful experience on the Paris subway system and trying to find my way to this hotel, I could have cried tears of joy by my experience when I first walked through the door. The hotel staff is BEYOND accomodating and try and help you out as best as they can. The room I had was above and beyond what I expected it to be, very large with an immaculate bathroom. Try and ask for a room on the corner, that way when you open your bathroom window you can see the Arc de Triomphe staring at you, wonderful! The free breakfast was absolutely delicious, the best croissants that I have ever had. The location could not be any better, you are a one minute walk to the Arc de Triomphe as well as many boutiques and stores. The metro station is 2 blocks away and from there you can go anywhere. I was very happy with the Hotel du Bois and would definitely stay there again.
