Du Golf Barriere Hotel is located on top of Mount Canisy and is surrounded by a 27-hole golf course, with another 27-hole golf course 15km away at St. Julien. The shopping area, cafes and restaurants are only 3 km away (5 min by car). Deauville St. Gatien is 15 km.

* La Pommeraie:
Serving traditional regional cuisine from a seasonal à la carte menu. The high-ceilinged room with crystal chandeliers is decorated in an Art Deco style, with huge bay windows looking out over the surrounding countryside and to Deauville. A children’s menu and an extensive wine list are also available. Open daily for breakfast and dinner, with musical entertainment on Saturday.
* Le Green Bar:
After a tough round of golf, guests can sink into an armchair and unwind in this friendly, relaxed bar. Décor is Art Deco and the view is of the 18th hole to Trouville in the distance.
* Although golf features prominently at this hotel, there is a choice of alternative activities, including an outdoor heated swimming pool, a sauna, a steam room, massages, tennis and cycling. Other attractions include the Health Centre, casino, theatre and cinema nearby.

superb courses in idillyc surroundings..if you wish to be spoiled pampered and play millionaires golf for peanuts this is the place fella's. Am i coming back?... At twice the price !!!!Bill

"Enjoyed the Hotel"
We stayed at the hotel during the first week of June 2004 in conjunction with the 60th D-Day Ceebration. The staff was extremely accomadating, breakfast was wonderful and it was a wonderful drop of point for touring Normandy. We had a car and drove throughout Normandy and Britanny. Breakfast was wonderful as were the dinner meals. Also, if you golf the courses are all very challanging.The views from the room and entire hotel is great, wether or not you golf. I would highly recommend the experience.

"Fantastic hotel"
If you want to experience friendly staff, wonderful service, excellent golf, all in a fabulous location overlooking Deauville - this is the place. Only one thing to mention the hotel & resort are very busy from Bastille Day (14th July) onwards but the staff were always accommodating even when under pressure. We will definitely be back.
