"Ridiculous view!"
I felt like I could reach right out and grab the Eiffel Tower, it was the first thing I saw in the morning and the last thing twinkling as I fell asleep. The room was small, but almost spacious compared to other European hotel rooms I've stayed in. The staff was so sweet and helpful and housekeeping was quick and thorough. I will sing the Duquesne Eiffel Hotel's name as loud and far as I can!

"Wonderful view, cute room"
We stayed in room 55, and had a magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower. The room was quite roomy by European standards, and clean as a whistle. The plasma screen TV was also a nice touch. I was quite impressed by this hotel. I wish I had booked it for my return trip to Paris instead of just one night. I highly recommend it as a splurge.

"Very friendly staff"
This hotel is very well located near the Eiffel Tower. In common with many hotels in Paris the rooms are small and room 12 was smaller than most in this hotel but for 1 person mainly using it to sleep in it was OK. The room itself is starting to look a little tired but the bathroom is newly refurbished and has all you need and was spotless. The hotel staff were very welcoming and were happy to speak French to me and equally happy to converse in perfect English. I noted they helped other people find restaurants and would call for them free of charge to make bookings. There is a night porter and so staying out late is not a problem. The hotel does not offer many facilities but as a central base to stay it offered a fair deal for the money. I did not try the breakfast.
