A unique experience in Cesky Krumlov...
Dvorak Hotel Cesky Krumlov is located directly in the historical heart of Český Krumlov and from its windows there is a unique view of the river and panorama of the Krumlov castle. The historical town situated in the Vltava river valley was found by the house of Vítkovci around 1274. Its historical centre has been listed in UNESCO world cultural heritage list since 1992. The Krumlov chateau with its dominating round tower counts among the most imposing monuments. Among other monuments there is the town part Latrán, first mentioned in writing in 1309. Its entrance, so called Budějovická brána /the Budějovice gate/ was built on expenses of Petr Vok of Romberk. In the inner town the Town square with the town hall, the plague column and the fountain can also be found. The whole town has preserved its medieval streets network with many renaissance houses of gothic cores.
The history of the building reaches in the 40-ties of the 19th century when in the place of today building minor houses of local tradesmen could be found. In 1867 the 3-floor burgess house was build. In 1996 conversion into the hotel was done. |

"Prime Location, Lovely Hotel"
Wonderful hotel in the very heart of Cesky Krumlov with views of the Chateau and river. Helpful, friendly staff.
Nice large rooms (old-fashioned European: high ceilings, french windows) excellent closet space and modern bathroom (European style tub/shower, ie. lots of tub, shower comfort ... not so much.) There was a hair dryer. Television with satellite including CNN. Continental breakfast is served in the morning and the hotel has a bar/restaurant.
The location could not be any better. Directly in the center of town and sitting on the river. Funny to reach by car as you will drive the narrow streets to reach the hotel where you can check-in, then you have to move the car to a Parking Lot nearby ... due to the design of the town/roads you'll basically double back to the highway, get off at the parking lot then walk to the hotel (5 minutes.)
Can't recommend more highly, a great hotel in a beautiful town ... worth the trip (2 hours from Prague.)

We were very content in hotel Dvorak. Beautiful rooms with nice view on the castle. Nice personal and excellent hot chocolate.
