Formerly known as The Empress Bangkok Hotel, is located right in the heart of Bangkok's main commercial and tourist center. Eastin Bangkok Hotel with its prime location plus deluxe accommodations, convention rooms, International coffeeshop, cocktail lounge, health club & sauna and superative service blended it with the Thai hospitalities make the hotel an ideal sanctuary for the tourists and business travellers alike. All 284 spacious guest rooms and 15 Suite are exquisitely adorned to afford the utmost comfort for our guests. All rooms and suites are fully equipped with luxurious amenities, individually controlled air conditioning, bathroom with full accessories, 24 hours Room service, private bar, IDD telephone with bathroom extension, color TV with 24 hours international satellite & local TV programs. For the guest requiring more space and a greater degree of comfort, there are 15 spacious suite of which 13 are Executive Suites and the other two are the elegant Asian and Royal Suites. All of our rooms and suites are fully furnished in Thai Lanna style - reflecting the richness of Thai Northern Cultures and Traditions - giving the occupants the feel of extra comfort and luxury of Lanna Era.

Eastin Bangkok Hotel's rooms were not very big, but clean. Service was very good, we had a small electronic problem with a photo-storage device, the staff went into overdrive to help us out with this. The pool was nice too, our kids loved it after a hot and busy Bangkok-day.

The Eastin is a very modern hotel that offers excellent value for money. I would rate it a good 4 stars hotel. I enjoyed the location in Pratunam, an area with many small local shops and stalls on the streets. Cheap internet shops, THB 20.00 for one hour! For tourists more interesting however is nearby Thanon Ratchaprarop. The hotel offers good facilities, I enjoyed the gym, sauna and pool (very cold!). Excellent dinner and breakfast buffets. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and spacious with all the amenities you can expect from a hotel of this class.
