This unspoiled region offers a unique experience of sport, relaxation and the sweet embrace of nature. Along the Montone Valley, guests will find a large choice of travel routes, ideal for strolls, trekking, mountain biking and riding. One of the largest attractions of this rural area in Romagnais is the delicious traditional cuisine, which can be found the whole year round in the typical restaurants. In addition to the homemade pasta, piadina or crescioni, guests will also find typical wines such as Sangiovses, Trebbiano, Pgadebit and Cagnina. The water from the Castrocaro thermal springs, with its special composition of salt, bromine, iodine and sulphur, is used in many areas for health treatments. The various therapies are able to help respiration, circulation, digestion, dermatological, gynecological and arthorheumatic problems. The connection of this water with pure clay establishes the natural-healing mud of Castrocaro used in mud balneotherapy.
