"Great Hotel that feels like family. Wonderful experience!"
We have wonderful memories of our first trip in Paris thanks to the exceptional staff at this great little hotel. It's beautifully furnished and immaculately clean. The hotel is very well located in a great section for sightseeing and shopping. It is true to its French heritage with a delightful ambience. But, the best thing about the Edouard is its exceptional staff. Everyone from the maids to management are gracious hosts. Nothing is too much trouble to help a guest. Everyone spoke English and helped us learn some French. By the end of our stay, I could enter a store and do an entire transaction in French. We felt like we were with family. We stayed for three nights then moved on to the Loire Valley where the four star place we were supposed to stay at was not a happy experience. So even though we had to pay for an extra night at the place in the Loire, we looked at each other and said, "Let's go home." We left and returned to the warm and friendly Edouard for a last wonderful night in Paris. We look forward to our next trip to Paris and to seeing our new friends at the Edouard VII. |

"Great hotel in ideal location"
Loved this hotel. Nice sized room with great bathroom. It is centrally located, a short walk to the Lourve and Opera House. Breakfast was great every morning, though the dining room is small and the tables are on top of each other. All in all, a wonderful hotel in Paris at a reasonable price.

"*Excellent*"
I stayed here for two nights with my boyfriend last April and I can honestly say it was perfect. On arrival the check-in was quick and hassle free and our cases were carried up to our room straight away. The hotel on first sight is impressive for a boutique style hotel. The reception is beautifully designed and it is immaculately clean.
Our room was a good size, with separate toilet, large bathroom with ‘his and hers’ sinks and a fantastic bedroom with two Juliet style balconies over looking the street.
The hotel staff were also very helpful in organising taxis and reservations. Although I have previously been to Paris before and therefore knew my way around, I am sure if it is your first trip the hotel staff would be pleased to help, as there is a friendly concierge who speaks very good English.
The location of the hotel is fantastic, we got taxis to most places, simply to save time as we were only there for 3 days but due to the central location they cost next to nothing (however the taxi drivers hardly spoke any English!). I do recommend using the Bateau Bus as it drops you off to all the major sights and only cost 8 Euro for the entire day!
Overall, I can not speak highly enough for this hotel, everyone made my boyfriend and I feel welcome and allowed us to stay in pure luxury and best of all, you had a chocolate on your pillow every morning!

"Great hotel"
We stayed here for four nights in a recent trip around France, Italy and Switzerland. This was a great hotel:
* The reception and concierge staff were continually helpful and polite throughout our stay. Even when we both got sick, and required a doctor on two consecutive days, nothing was too much trouble. The concierge organised the doctor for us very efficiently.
* The ambience in the hotel is very pleasant. It's not a huge hotel, which is nice because it has a more personal feel.
* The breakfast room and breakfast food were great. Breakfast room staff were helpful and hospitable. Breakfast was a buffet of hot and cold foods, and the food was lovely.
* The location of the hotel is excellent - very close to the Opera, as well as to a small supermarket (Monoprix) and of course to the metro (Pyramides).
* The bedroom was very comfortable and clean. The air conditioning was much appreciated as it was quite warm in Paris, being summer. The bathroom was clean and everything we needed was provided.
We intend to return to Paris and it will be this hotel where we will stay. We definitely recommend staying here.

"Wonderful Hotel"
My wife and I spent 5 nights in this wonderful hotel. The location is perfect, the Opera National de Paris to the left and the Louvre to the right. With two metro stations and plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes right on the doorstep (including the excellent Harry's Bar). We found that we could walk to most attractions, including the Eiffel Tower and the Champs Elysees. The hotel itself is very comfortable. Our suite had plenty of space, fully air conditioned and had a wonderful view of the Opera National de Paris. The restaurant was lovely. We breakfasted there each morning and were very impressed with both the variety and freshness of the fare. However, the highlight for us, and the foremost reason we would not only highly recommend but will definitely return to the Edouard VII were the exceptional staff. Everyone was courteous, friendly and very helpful. Definitely among the best that we have ever met. Thank you for making our first visit to Paris unforgettable.

"Perfect position for perfect Paris!"
My husband and I with our 2 yr old son stayed here for 5 nights 1Nov-6th Nov. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly especially because we speak little french. All staff are happy to speak English. Breakfast was fantastic and rooms are well appointed and very clean. The bar and restaurant were also great. This is a nice boutique hotel so you don't feel like a number as in the big hotels. Fabulous position as walking distance to all main attractions, great shops and train station. I will definately stay here again!

"Great value Great staff"
My husband and I stayed here for four nights recently and found this an excellent small hotel. We normally stay in large venerable establishments, but in Paris this can cost well over $700/night. This crisp hotel is a bargain for this city. The staff is extremley cooperative and pleasant. The location is perfect for most tourist activities, within blocks of the Louvre and the upscale shopping district. The common areas in the hotel have been recently refurbished, making a very nice first impression. The fabrics in the guest rooms that I saw were a bit dated (late 80s style) but not at all shabby (still crisp enough) and the large bathrooms more than made up for it. This hotel presented an excellent value, and we would definitely stay here again.

"Fantastic!"
What a wonderful start to our honeymoon! The Edouard VII is perfectly located in the heart of Paris with access to all forms of transport (subway, tourist buses, etc) and within walking distance of the Louvre. The bedroom is spacious and tastefully decorated with all the mod cons. I am an extremely light sleeper and the room was so dark that we over-slept if we did not set the alarm and although we were on one of the area’s main streets we were unable to hear any noise, either from the street or from adjoining rooms. The bathroom is spectacular – a little small but marble and kept spotlessly clean and with a constant supply of lovely shampoos and soaps and the like. I cannot comment on the food as we did not eat in. We were on the third floor, which I am led to believe has the more traditional décor. The fourth is a little more modern (and not as nice).
The staff were more than fabulous. Particularly Eric, who assisted us in locating our passports and travel documents that we had left at the airport(!) and Martin, who provided us with a constant stream of information about where to go, how to get there and even how to dress! Staff are very polite, helpful, friendly and discreet. Nothing was too much trouble.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Paris. Absolutely lovely!
