"better than i expected"
My husband and i have just returned from a weeks stay at the 'el pinar'. I will admit i was very doubtful about staying here after reading the other reviews. I will honestly say that i enjoyed myself very much, the room was a decent size, which was cleaned on a daily basis+towels changed etc. The air conditioning worked which we were glad of due to the hot weather-we have stayed in numerous hotels and the air con never works ! We had no problems with the food, my husband is quite a fussy eater and he always found plenty to put on his plate.A cooked breakfast was provided as well as numerous other items. The only drawback was the hotels location, it was about 15 minute walk to the beach, but we always took full advantage of the free courtesy bus provided to take you to the town centre or the beach. All in all I would honestly say that I would stay here again if i was coming to Torremolinos again.

"what a good holiday"
After reading some of the reviews i was a bit hesitant about going to these apartments. I had chose the holiday for myself and 7 other passengers. when we arrived all seemed well. After booking in and reaching our 2 apartments we were all amazed at the size. Basic utensils but never ate in the apartment. The rooms where cleaned daily with fresh clean towels. A shame about the pools, it didnt matter what time we went down wether early or late there was never any sun beds left, so we decided to use the free bus service to the beach. This service was absolutely wonderful, we would catch the first bus at 10 in morning to beach. What a lovely beach and shops also bars and restaurants. we would catch the first bus back at tea time 5.45 and back to the hotel. Quick change and then catch last free bus into town at 8.00pm. We all really enjoyed our weeks stay and are planning another trip next year.

"Enjoyable, relaxing holiday"
Have just arrived back 21/06/06 with friends and we all throughly enjoyed our holiday just what we needed to relax apartment large and roomy, staff extremely friendly who couldn't do enough for us, loved the open grounds and pool although wish it could have opened a little earlier than 10 0'clock every day just feel we missed half the morning sunbathing. Great to have the free bus which ran on time although only 6 euros to town in taxi . Would definitely go back again from Helen & Denise (Red Card) Aberdeen

after reading the reviews of el pinar i was absolutely terrified of what i was going to anyway what a pleasent surprse my husband and nine year old daughter andmy self had the hotel was perfect really clean rooms really big and spacious we where half board and the food was excellant when i read some of the reviews about the food i was appalled what people need to remember they are in spain not england if they want boring fish and chips stay in england for holidays the breakfast and evening meal was beautiful the hotel is a bit out of the way but we did not mind as there is a free bus every 20 minutes to take you to the town center or beach the pool areas where lovely the staff really nice not one thing to complain about would recommend to anyone we have already booked for next year

read all the reviews.all i can say is for the money this is the best hotel i have stayed in...food not up to much..but spanish hotels serve all the same muck..taxi 6 euro to town..12 euro to the bars 24 hour square..not that good.....marina best place to eat and drink.....
