"A gem in the heart of Prague"
The stay at this hotel was a joy. It was in a great location, within minutes walk to the city's attractions. The tube and tram stops are just around the corner for those, who want to see more then just the city centre. It was very clean and the services were excellent. The hotel staff was very helpful. The decor was very classy and comfortable. I very much enjoyed my stay and recommend the hotel highly.

"An excellent base to explore Prague"
The hotel offers perfect location right in the heart of Prague. The staff were very friendly and efficient. The room had enough space and it was lovely, with exposed beams, renovated in an artsy upscale style and clean. Bathroom lovely, breakfast area up to date and modern...great for both a tourist and a business traveler. I do not see a reason why not recommending it to other travelers, in fact I booked my next stay there already...

"This is a great hotel"
We booked the Elite at the end of Feb for my vacation based on the tripadvisor reviews and found a lovely well-kept hotel.
Overall it had an excellent location in walking distance to the city centre, pleasant staff, tasteful décor, great breakfasts, comfortable rooms and I’d certainly book again with confidence.
The pleasant reception area has free internet access.
Our room was in the rear part of the hotel, which was fine, very quiet and warm, a decent size, really comfy beds, toasty bathroom floor (the people who think it’s too small have obviously never visited our house).
There’s no real need to use the trams in Prague as its such an easy city to walk about in and a pleasure to stop at the little bars and cafes on the way. We had read that Czech service can be on the surly side but it was absolutely fine.
Thanks go to previous reviewers, as this really is a great hotel and terrific value.

"Bags of Character"
Me and my boyfriend stayed in Hotel Elite in June 2005 for a romantic weekend break. The hotel was great, very pretty and had bags of character. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were large. The bar and restuarant next door, which is also owned by the hotel, did the most amazing food with big portions for very small prices. I cannot fault this place. I really wanted a hotel that had character and I got it here. Great location also.
This has got to be one of the best hotels in Prague.

"Fantastic customer service and great breakfasts"
We went to the Hotel Elite as part of our honeymoon. They gave us a free bottle of sparkling wine with a handwritten congratulatory note in our room. The room was large and overlooked a beautiful courtyard. We also enjoyed fantastic service. They gave us good advice on how to get around Prague. The room itself was lovely and the bathroom was huge and comfortable. The hotel's cafe/bar is a comfortable place to relax and their breakfasts are outrageously good. When we checked out, we were waiting for a late night train, and they watched our bags very well and allowed us to continue using the hotel's internet facilities. We accidentally left our camera bag there and after emailing them about it, they found the bag, packaged it in a box, and mailed it back to our home in the United States. There was a charge for this, but at least they returned things we had left behind, which many hotels won't do. We were very impressed by their knowledge and service, especially when they picked us up from the airport and took wonderful care of us throughout the time we spent there. Highly recommended for their terrific attitude with guests.

"Marvellous hotel"
My wife and myself stayed at the Elite for 3 days in October for her 40th. I booked it following reviews on this site. Excellent location, friendly staff and a wonderful three days.
We booked direct and arranged the taxi service with the hotel which is highly recommeded.
I recommend the walks (Praguewalks), the opera (try to book before you go - we left it to the last minute), and there are loads of concerts. We met a couple who thought the ballet was fantastic and very good value.
We would return to Prague and stay at the Elite again.
