Home away home
The Elite Palace Hotel has very friendly staff that welcomes you and speak fluent English. It's sure you'll feel like you're at home. Expecially the Bishops Arms is a great place, we were there to have our drinks almost every night! The location is fine, in a quiet ares, but very easy to get to the city centre by using public transportation, only about 3-4 stops from the central train station. There are some good restaurants and a variety of small stores along the way.

Not 0.1 km to the surveway, it took 15 minute by fast walking
The hotel was outside the central city, however, relatively comfortable and ordnary breakfast was not bad. The rooms are half renovated and halfs are not revovated. So when you are good to ask the renovated room. But the long way to the surveway and train was a little discomfortable. It takes at least 15 min to the surveway and 20 min to the train station by fast walking. Also they provide a room with no view because of the internet low price reservation.

"A good choice"
Set in a quiet area on the outskirts of the central city , we had a very pleasant stay. The rooms were spotless and well appointed as were all areas of the hotel, excellent buffet breakfast included. The staff were all friendly (especially in the bar , THE BISHOPS ARMS ) and spoke good english. Nightlife and two underground stations within a five minute walk. A good choice.

"3rd time there, every time happy"
I first came here in 2001, then in 2002 and have just spent another visit at this fabulous hotel in February 2004. Staff are extremely friendly, in the reception, restaurant, Bishops Arms pub (regarded as one of the best in Stockholm) and housekeeping. Rooms are not luxurious but are extremely comfortable. Location, this is perfect. If you are coming in from the Airport (Arlanda), then the bus stops right outside and leaving is just as convenient. Subway stops at St Eriksplan and Odenplan are 5 minutes walk and there are plenty of great restaurants in the neighborhood (Ciao Ciao and Vanadis are minutes from the hotel, Odenplan has great places including the Hard Rock Cafe and even the 7-11 hotdogs are delicious). Subway rides to the centre, Old Town and to Sodermalm (a real great part for nightlife in Stockholm) are reachable within 15 minutes with no line changes neccessary. If it's summer then all can be reached by foot if you are up to it.
