"lovel Hotel Elysee"
Stayed in the Hotel Elysee for 3 nights in September. Great location, walking distance to the whole of Prague. Rooms are lovely, juts like the pictures on the net and the breakfast is good value as well. Very secure hotel, needing a swipe card to get in and front gates locked from 11.30pm (just need to ring the bell and door man comes and opens it for you)Staff are very friendly and helpfull. I would recopmmend to go to one of the Black Light Theratres and see a show, very good value for money.Definatley wort a visit is 'Cukrarna Monika' on Charvatova 11, just of the old town square. They make the most beautiful cakes and ice cream. Old town square is lovely at night but if you are short of cash, buy a pint of lager from the stall by the Clock for £0.60 and sit in the square on the benches rather than paying £2 for a pint in one of the cafes.

"Great Hotel"
Hotel is in a great location on the famous Wenceslas Square, with very helpful reception staff. Our room was large, clean and newly furnished. The room had a TV, mini bar and tea/coffee making facilities. On some evenings you occasionally heard noisy people coming in, but our room was situated near the lift and stairs and this may have not happened with other rooms. On the whole I would reccommend Hotel Elysee, and when my husband and I return to Prague, we will definitely stay here again.

"Will come back to visit Prague again"
My vacation in Prague city began from July 2 to July 10, 2006. During that time, I stayed at the Hotel Elysee. I was a little bit stunk after I got out of the taxi cab, and saw the entrance to the hotel. Much of my dis-believe soon disappeared when I knew the security set up in the hotel as well as saw the room where I stayed. I felt very safe during my visit in Prague and stayed in the hotel. Since my room was faced away from the main street, I bearly heard any noise at all. By the way, it was the start of the tourism season in Prague, and was near the end of the international soccer competition, FIFA 2006. I have been traveled to many Eastern European countries, and find this place is one of the best. There is one improvement that I would strongly suggest to the hotel: each room needs a fan or air conditioner during the Summer season. If I visit Prague again, this is the hotel that I will stay.

"First Class"
Realy nice hotel. Very good value for money. Room was very clean with a nice bathroom. Seemed very new. Mini bar, kettle, safe, hairdryer, Tv and telephone. Breakfast was nice too. Standard continental, but a good selection. A big advantage of ths hotel is it's location. It's right on Wenceslas Square and it is only about a 10 minute walk to the old town square and 15 to the Charles Bridge. To get to reception you have walk down a shopping arcade, but the hotel name is quite clearly marked on the street. It is about halfway along the square about 200m from Debenhams (yes thats right!) if you are walking towards the statue of Wenceslas/National Museum. Highly recomended.
