Byzantine architecture and features clashed with Greek, Roman and Medieval influences, create a unique 5 star Hotel. Each element of Elysium has been designed with the utmost care and attention in order to provide luxury and palatial accommodation to each valued guest.

The Elysium Beach Hotel in Paphos, Cyprus is situated on the beach, in the historical heartland of the ancient city of Paphos, next to the archaeological site of the tombs of the Kings. "Far the best in Paphos"
We choose to stay in this hotel whilst we got married in Paphos. The hotel itself has first class service, immaculate rooms and public areas and the attention to detail is evident every where you look. I would recommend you use the guest relations desk to help plan you holiday in cyprus and stay in Paphos which can at first appear a fairly bland and tacky resort. The hotel is situated close to a number of excellant restaurants including Artios, Chloes and Olivetos. We had our Wedding reception at Zaffrons and I just have to say the organisation, management, service, atmosphere and food were fantastic, in fact the food was better than that served in the elysium which took some beating.

"What an Amazing Hotel"
I have never stayed in a better hotel than the Elysium. From start to finish the stay in the hotel was brilliant. After arriving without the return flight details the hotel staff happily give me the fax number and delivered the documents safely to the room immediately after arrival. The room was spotless and extremely comfortable. I have never slept in a more comfortable bed and it was huge. The bathroom was also spotless and always well stocked with Molton Brown products which was a lovely touch and the towels were changed everyday. The hotel itself was immaculately presented and the pools were lovely. You never had to fight to get a good sunbed and the staff would be at your chosen sunbed laying out towels for you within minutes. Many people have complained about the price of drinks at the hotel but bearing in mind it is a 5* hotel the prices really are what you would expect! I have to say that they did do the best pina coladas in the hotel compared to every other place I tried in Paphos so definitely worth the money! The Spa is also worth checking out. I had a mini facial and a massage and it was amazing and not as expensive as I was expecting so treating yourself is a definite must! Although Paphos and the area of bars and restaurants by the hotel is very tacky there are a few nice places to enjoy a meal and drink. Near the hotel just past the Tombs of the Kings on the opposite side is a lovely restaurant called Oliveto which is definitely worth trying. Down near the harbour La Piazza and Seagulls restaurants are also very nice. Up around the back streets is a bar called Mystique for those looking to try something a little different with their drink! It is definitely worth hiring out a car and exploring as there is a lot more to offer in Cyprus than just Paphos, and seeing as they drive on the same side of the road as the UK it makes it a little less daunting! We will without doubt be returning to the hotel at some point in the future as it was brilliant. Although the resort is slightly tacky the hotel makes up for it ten fold!
