The staff were very helpfull and room we had, what a view, robson street, grouse mountain, the harbour with the yaucht's well we were on the 39 floor. easy walking distance for stanley park, your on Robson street go up the street for designer shopping or down for indoor markets. We would use the hotel again good value for money.

"A 3 star hotel in a five star location"
I stayed at the Empire Landmark in May and found it to be an average hotel in a great location.
The rooms were similar to what you would find in your typical Holiday Inn. What puts theLandmark high on my list is its location.
My room was on the 33rd floor and had a great view of Stanley Park and the Lion's gate bridge; The view at night was fantastic. There is great shopping and restaurants galore just outside the door on the trendiest Street in Vancouver, Robson Street.
If you like Pizza go to the White Tower (1/2 block away) If you need some groceries go to the Safeway (4 blocks away) If you need to burn some calories after eating the Pizza and groceries head over to Stanley park ( 1 KM away). You really do get excellent value for your money.

"Wow wow wow!"
We went to this hotel feeling a little anxious about what to expect, however .....! Location - fabulous for views, shopping, restaurants, Stanley Park, and yacht-spotting! Also Grayline Tours, and the Vancouver Airporter bus pick up directly outside which was a plus for us.
We were on the 16th of 42 floors which gave us a great view over Stanley Park, part of Robson Street, and water on two sides. The bed was 5' and comfortable, and the room was reasonably small but absolutely fine for us - no complaints. We had a balcony (don't look down!) which was great, and the fast lift was OK by about the time we left!!! (It made me feel slightly unstable, but was absolutely fine really!). We had a romantic drink in Cloud 9 on our first night, watching Vancouver at night which was lovely. We also ate breakfast there the following morning which was OK, but not outstanding (but we'd been spoilt in Banff earlier in our honeymoon). We found the hotel's location, and Cloud 9 to be it's main positive points and the room was very adequate for us, being clean, comfortable and having great views!
PS. If you like Chinese food, eat at Hon's (opposite side of the street and up about 200m) - the portions are huge, and excellent value. Also fantastic taste ....

very good
We stayed on the 25th floor and had the most beautiful view of the northwest mountains. There was a king-sized bed with proper bedding, the bathroom was totally remodelled and up-to-date. The staff was VERY pleasant...esp Sean who was at the front desk who went out of his way to accomodate us. I would certainly stay there again and would recommend it to anyone. |

Excellant stay
We had our first visit to Vancouver and stayed for 4 nights at the Empire Landmark before moving on through the Rockies. When we arrived we were pleasantly greated by the staff. We didn't have to wait very long to check-in and then went up to our room, on the 25th floor.
Our room was very clean and roomy and pleasantly decorated. We had our own balcony which was great as the views were stunning in all directions. We had breakfast in the cafe within the hotel and the food was very good, there was so much choice of food too.
We will certainly recommend it and when we return in the near future we will stay there again.
