"Good hotel"
I stayed here only one night, in on of the apartement style rooms on the first floor. My room was clean though a heard complaints from fellow travelers. The bathroom was extremely strange; there was one bathroom in the room with the sink and shower...but no toilet, then in the on the other side of the roomroom there another bathroom with only a toilet. This made it a bit difficult if you wished to wash your hands and someone else was in taking a shower. The restaurant was quite good, though it did seem understaffed as we had a group of 35 and only one waitress, overall i would probably stay in this hotel again.

"Excellent reception"
Stayed just two nights over the long weekend. I was really impressed with the very pleasant nature of the front desk staff. Often confronted with arrogant french staff in other hotel stays, this was a delight, they smiled as they suffered our poor attempts at requests in more than basic French. Rooms very clean and extremely comfortable. Missed tea and coffee in the room (after staying in various English establishments). Floor was non smoking and very quite. Secure onsight parking. Pool looked clean, although a little to cool to try it out. Aix has many weekend markets.

"This worked for us"
A little bit out of the way. This was not a problem as we had a car. Without a car I would recommend a hotel closer to the town centre. The immediate surrounding area seems a little run down - a lot of wall graffiti on a nearby apartment block. The hotel itself is fine with a large security gated car park and a reasonable size pool area. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Overall a pleasant hotel. If visiting during the summer with kids the pool was a blessing. It was lovely to come back after a day of sightseeing and flake out by the pool to catch the last of the sun. For this reason we reckon this was the best possible choice for us. I don't recall any of the hotels nearer the town centre having a pool. We would return. By the way, we loved Aix!
