LOCATION

EuroAgentur Hotel William is located in Mala Strana, between Petrin Hill and Vltava River, approximately a 5 minute walk from Malostranske Namesti (Mala Strana Town Centre). To the south of EuroAgentur Hotel William is Andel district where plenty of shops, restaurants and bars are situated. This area also features a big shopping mall called Novy Smichov and the villa of Bertramka where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart had stayed in 1787.

Atop Petrin Hill stands a lookout tower which was built 1891, one of the popular tourist attractions of Prague. You can reach the tower by the funicular which links Mala Strana to Petrin Hill. On your way to Mala Strana town centre, you may like to visit the Church of Our Lady Victorious, the home of the Infant Jesus of Prague. Mala Strana is one of the oldest districts of Prague, located on the slopes below the Prague Castle. The area features numerous structures in Baroque style such as Wallenstein Palace and St. Nicholas Church. Charles Bridge is also within a short walking distance away from here.

If you prefer to use public transportation to reach Old Town of Prague, Hellichova tram station is only footsteps away from EuroAgentur Hotel William and the trip takes 10–15 minutes.

"Very happy at Hotel William"
Stayed at the Hotel William in early June, 2004. Hotel is very well located next to four tram lines which can take you anywhere in the city. The room, although not large was more than adequate. The breakfast buffet was very nice with juice, fruit, cold cuts, cheeses and nice breads and cereals. The hotel is close to the river and the famous bridges and is within walking distance of attractions with the advantage of being on the quieter side of the river. As Prague is an expensive hotel city, this hotel was very fairly priced for its ammenities.

"Great Hotel"
We stayed at this hotel as a group of forty somthing friends and we loved it, we are a well travelled group, and feel pretty well placed to compare. This hotel was spotless, central, rooms were more than ok, lovly clean fresh linen, towels changed every day. Very tastefully decorated, staff were pleasant and helpful, breakfast was what you expect of a continental. We were on the third floor, there was a lift but it was just a quick to walk, and these were not steep stairs, and very easily walked. This is a perfect hotel for people visiting prague on a budget, its not the best, but you have to pay for the best, you cannot pay budget and expect top quality, but we paid budget and stayed in very high quality within the confines of what the hotel is. We would most certainly reccommend this hotel, great bar below 25p a pint, heaven.
