"Outstanding Value Turin Hotel"
Our family stayed at the Turin Holiday Inn Express for two nights this past August and were very impressed. The rooms were bright and clean, and a good size by European standards.The breakfast was excellent, including a small selection of hot items and a large selection of breads, pastries, fruits etc. They had free internet access (although there was a sign saying that there was a charge, the hotel seemed not interested in collecting) and free underground parking. The location is a slight drawback, being about half an hour from the city center, but a city bus is available nearby that takes you downtown for a little less than a Euro. All this for the bargain price of about 65 Euros (for two) per night. We strongly recommend this hotel.

"Really great budget hotel"
The Express by Holiday Inn in Torino is a great brand new place on the outskirts of Turin in what can only be described as the projects. Despite its location the place is really nice inside and is probably the nicest Holiday Inn that exists. I would rate it as a really nice three star hotel. The rooms were nice and had great balconies. The breakfast that was served was really good for a holiday inn and had free espresso/cappucino and a waitress. You could even squint your eyes and say it was a four star hotel, if you ignore the location. The parking is ultra-secure as well with two layers of barriers to get in and constant video surveillance. I believe it was built for the Olympics which were coming to town. Whatever the reason, this new hotel is great. Take advantage of it next time you are in this region.

"Great hotel"
We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Torino for the winter Olympics. The staff was very friendly, spoke English and coped well with full-occupancy. We had no idea what we would get since we hadn't stayed at one of these before, but our room was large, with a king size bed, and we had a large bathroom, with a walk-in shower that was larger than most others in Europe. The only thing keeping this from a 4 star rating is that they don't give you all of the little toilettries that other hotels usually give you, but there was a hair dryer and plenty of hangers. I would definitely stay there again. They also had a good selection for breakfast, including eggs and bacon and plenty of good Italian pastries and breads.
