"Going out of their way"
I recently spent a night here. The property is centrally located near great shopping and the sites of downtown Munich. The room was comfortable and the breakfast delicious, especially the fresh orange juice. But, what really inspired me to write a review is the staff and management of the hotel.
You see, I booked a room at this hotel through Expedia. I incorrectly entered my arrival date (a day later). When we arrived that the hotel, they explained this to me and then went out of their way to not only provide us a room, but to provide it to use in the morning. Very nice.
Also, the front desk staff and the manager contacted Expedia directly to try to resolve the payment issue. While they were not able to convince Expedia to forward them the payment for the alternate night, resulting in me paying for the room twice despite the hotel's policy of allowing same day cancellation, they at least took the initial step of trying to resolve this for me. And for that, they should be commended for showing excellent customer service, which is good to know should you find yourself in need of something out of the ordinary.

"Extremely happy with this hotel"
We just spent 3 nights at this hotel and after staying at small hotels in other towns in Bavaria and Salzburg, we were very happy to be in a good hotel room with all the modern conveniences. I'll get my atmosphere out in the city. I don't need it in my room. The bathroom is huge and very well appointed. The room has a fridge which is handy. The location is perfect. All the people at the front desk were very helpful with answering our questions and giving us directions.

"Quite good"
Cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! We were put in quite a small room when we arrived with no bath but it was okay. However, the TV didn't work so my partner complained. Nothing happened until the 4th complaint when the receptionist said we could swap rooms. Luckily we were put in a nicer, larger room with a bath so we were happier. Didn't eat at the hotel. Very central and handy for walking around Munich. Most of the reception staff are quite friendly and speak good English. Overall, good value for money.
