WONDERFUL!
Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel is a wonderful hotel! We spent only one week but I would like to live here for the rest of my life. Imposing and vibrant entrance... Spacious, luxurious, bright, airy and perfectly furnished rooms... Everyone and everything looks beautiful around in the hotel. I felt like a princess, I hope I can stay one more time in Fairmont Monte Carlo Hotel!

"Feel a million dollars"
Picked up a brand new C Class Mercedes at Nice Airport, inserted the TOM TOM and drove the 30 mins to the Fairmont. Pulled up outside, gave the keys to the Valet and grabbed the room key. Amazing marble entrance hall with chic and rich milling about. Check in was fast and friendly. Booked a deluxe sea view room and we were right on the corner overlooking the end of the marina. The room was lovely, bright and modern with an amazingly comfy bed. Marble bathroom with a great shower, seperate toilet and bidet. Biggest shaving mirror in the world and a hairdryer here too as well as two deluxe bath robes. Well stocked (but incredibly expensive) mini bar and wine and chocolate cabinet. Champagne in the mini bar too but as the Evian was 7 Euros for 25cl you can imagine how much the Veuve Clicquot was! The rooms are luxurious and the service was great. In the newly renovated bar, you are greeted each evening by a live musician playing quiet background music until around 1am. Huge picture windows look out on to the med and you relax on beautiful white leather chairs and sofas. Drinks are reasonable for the environment and expect to pay around 20 Euros for two drinks. Outside you are 5 mins walk from the fabulous Casino Square, the shopping mall on Avenue des Spelugues. Some great restaurants here if you like people watching. Highly recommend this place, if you can afford it, do it now.

"Amazing Hotel...."
Had the pleasure of spending 4 nights in early May in this beautiful hotel! Could not have asked for a better location!! Basically next door to the Casino!! Walking distance to both the harbour in one direction, and the beach in the other. Room was the biggest i have ever stayed in anywhere! White and pale blue colour scheme made it feel very relaxing, light and airy. The foyer was still being updated, but wasnt at all an inconvienience. The restaurant upstairs needs some work, and all extra services provided were very expensive (but thats to be expected in Monaco!) Make sure you book a package that includes the breakfast!! The view in the mornings from the roof-deck terrace, is nearly worth the price on its own! I wanted to stay there all day!! Definately worth the money if you are looking for something special!

"Wonderful Stay"
We stayed at the Fairmont for 3 nights. Location is within walking distance to restaurants, The Casino, an indoor shopping mall, and scenic views. We had a king bed, which was very comfy. Bathroom was typically small, but toilet & bidet were separated from tub/shower & sink. Plenty of room to walk around--see our photos. There is also a double closet and a desk area which is not shown in the photos. Staff was great, very helpful, and we were able to exchange some US currency right at front desk with no service fee. Casino in hotel wasn't that great. I utilized the beaurty salon one day for an evening event, & was very happy with results. All in all, a very nice hotel and we would stay there again.

"Absolutely Wonderful!!!!"
WOW!!! This is an amazing hotel!! We were there in late July 2007 for four nights w/ our three children. It is just beautiful and the location can not be beat in Monte Carlo! Our rooms had the most breathtaking water views w/ huge balconies! (Most of the rooms have an amazing view) The service was impeccable (and they were very children friendly even though the property feels a bit formal) The Sapphir lounge/bar is stunning w/ beautiful views and live music every evening! The Casino was fantastic fun (I should have stopped while I was ahead!!!) but not a crazy mob seen. Oh yes, we took the breakfast every morning which was superb!! When we head back to Monte Carlo we will definitely stay at the Fairmont!!

"A Very Special Hotel"
My husband and I celebrated our Silver Wedding Anniversary here on 25th July 05. Wow, what a hotel, situated right on the hair pin bend of the Monte Carlo Grand Prix! Two romantic restaurants to choose from - the food and service is pure theatre- it made our special moment for us. Our hotel room was equipped with everything you could think of, including fruit, flowers and champagne for our special day. The staff were so attentive and you get free minibus tours to choose from most days of the week. We went to San Remo Italy on a Tuesday which was really nice, because it is just a few hotel residents and not a big bus tour. It is situated within easy walking distance of the shops and sightseeing, and also the airport bus to Nice stops right outside the hotel. My husband had bought me an eternity ring in Amsterdam some months previously and he put it on my finger on the hair pin bend outside the hotel and one of the staff very kindly took our photograph!! It is a perfect hotel for a very special moment.

"Fabulous hotel"
We stayed here in Sept this year. What a fabulous hotel in a fabulous location. Okay it's not cheap but you can pay more to stay in the UK, for not nearly as much in terms of finesse and customer service. As we had booked a package in UK,it seemed better value than just ringing up the hotel.It is a vast hotel and easy to get lost on the bedroom floors, but seems very quiet which adds to the relaxation as Monaco is so busy. Everything was perfect. We had a courtyard room which we couldn't fault and the breakfast ,being included, was great. The Argentin restaurant was second to none.The meat/chicken dishes were faultless and the service was the best we have ever received anywhere. The location was amazing-looking over the Med and being near the Place de Casino and gardens was perfect. One other great thing to note was that if you are hiring a car and wish to return it during your stay (to use the train) the hotel will return it for you free of charge(presuming there is a drop off point in Monaco). Also the hotel provide free excursions to eg Cannes,Nice Eze,Ventimille,San Remo. You just get in their minibus and go! If you wish to sunbathe ,the pool area is lovely ,commanding fab views over the city. To sum up I think you can gather we would go back tomorrow. It has been the best hotel that we have ever stayed in. Try it and see!

Good hotel, no complaints but remember your in a 4 star hotel in Monte Carlo so be prepared to spend serious cash at this hotel. Monte carlo very good when you shop around especially recommend Tip Top restaurant.

"A beautiful stay in Monte Carlo"
Stayed for 4 nights at the Fairmont in late June. It's a 4+ hotel and although its architecture is not impressive, location can't be beaten. It nestles between the sea and the Casino gardens. Great views from pool and breakfast area day and night. We had a sea view room, spacious, with all current amenities(slippers, robes, small dresses for pool..).Staff was very polite in both reception and breakfast area, very accomodating to young kids (ask for Isabelle). Renovation'll start soon and that's needed in certain areas ie in order to solve small smell problem due to birds. Overall a beautiful hotel at an excellent location, just where all the action is, no car needed if you're staying there. Would happily stay there again.
