Completely delightful experience
Stayed here years ago and have been hoping to go back ever since! So quiet you'd never imagine you were at an airport. Makes for a fun and interesting view. Beautiful room, nice comfy beds, and lovely luxury bathroom. Very pleasant staff too. |

"Wow! This is a truely great hotel!"
We stayed at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel as our flight was leaving very early in the morning and we live 40 minutes from the airport. We had 3 rooms in all. We were all equally impressed with the rooms. Our family stayed and had dinner in the main dinning room. Dinner was bit slow but was excellent. It was hard to believe we were sitting at airport. The room is so typically West Coast, with stone, cedar and a large fireplace.
Our rooms were wonderfully layed out and appointed. In particular, I was impressed with the very large bathrooms, dimmers on all lights, the bedside controls for the entire room and the digital climate control for the room. The beds were very comfortable. You could just barely hear planes taking off but such that it would ever wake one from a sleep. In the morning my breakfast was delivered on time and was excellent (pre-ordered the night before).
