"Weekend of sheer enjoyment"
My wife and i throughly enyoyed our stay in Prague between the 16th & 18th Feb 07 Hotel was very clean and wellpresented with modern furnishings, our bedroom was large and airy and again spotlessly clean, we took advantage of the suana and steam room which were very welcomed after full days exploring the beautiful city of Prague. We found the service of staff very good within the hotel, The wide selection of food served at breakfast provided you with a good start to the day, In all fairness you could not fault the hotel in anyway. Wenceslas Square approx 150 metres away and is full of shops offering all kinds of goods however at night it became quite seedy and very lively and would certainly appeal to the younger generation with its nightlife and pace of life. The old town sqaure is stunning with prices to match which are in fairness displayed ,surprisingly food and alcohol is very reasonable if you walk less than 100m out of the touristy spots.Prague is a beautiful place to visit and if able is managable on foot would certainly love to visit again.

"Great Hotel"
I booked this hotel the evening before I left for Prague. Luckily, I was able to get an excellent deal with Otel.com. I travelled with my young son, who is 6. The location was perfect, just off the main touristy areas and right beside the police station - so at least you feel safe. The rooms are very clean, bright and airy. The bed was fine, we ended up having a huge double bed, which was great. Breakfast was also very good, enough to keep you going until late afternoon. The hotel staff were very friendly, especially Igor who works in the Bar. The only downside was the toiletries offered by the hotel, there was only a showergel attached to the wall in the bathfroom, it would be nice to have other items available. On the whole, a fantastic hotel and city to visit, especially travelling with a young child. One thing to avoid is the Black Theatre which offers the musical "Cats" a waste of money and a crappy show. We visited the "Medieval night" which consists of driving 1.5 hours outside of the city, this is organised by a tour company. The hotel can arrange this excursion. This is fantastic, with entertainment all evening, beer and food. It is definetly a must when visiting Prague. Enjoy your stay in this remarkable and beautifuly city.

"Great hotel, great location"
Great modern hotel in a central yet comfortable location. Great breakfast and lovely staff. The best perk is the airport car service which you can order before arrival, to avoid being wripped off by local taxi drivers (they are as vicious as they are reputed to be.) It's just 800 crowns and it can be added to your hotel bill -- call ahead and save the worries. I would also definitely recommend the restaurant across the street - excellent food and moderate prices. TIP: get early for breakfast to avoid the flood. Also, avoid Wenceslas square in the evenings unless you are really interested in drugs. And enjoy beautiful Prague.

"Good Hotel!"
We like this hotel. Clean and the staff was helpful. The buffet breakfast was also great. There's a large selection of food. Our room was quite and the television was working. We'd stay in this hotel if we come to Prague again.

"The Hotel You Want to Stay At"
Want to wake up in a modern spacious recently renovated airy room, with a comfortable bed you'll want to use as soon as you open the door to your room? Want an absolutely quiet sleeping experience, with double windows that you can open and close at your option for ventilation and/or a view? Want a fabulous included breakfast with enough variety to more than satisfy carnivores and vegetarians alike? Want a hotel with a new steam room and an adjoining sauna which are only about 15 feet away from a well-equiped fitness room? Want an elegant affordable hotel with character facing a quiet park and only about about 200 feet from the National Bohemian Museum and Wenceslaus Square and conveniently situated within walking distance to public transportation (definitely use the trams!), and other historical and central shopping areas? If you answered yes to any of the above, you want to book the Falkensteiner Maria Prag Hotel whenever you visit Prague. My only complaint: Make sure that you bring a credit card in addition to American Express, just in case they tell you that American Express "declined" the swipe. This was the first visit to Prague for me and my wife and we would definitely book there again when next we visit Prague. By the way, 3 days is long enough to see a lot, especially if you have other cities on your itinerary

"Great hotel, great service!"
I stayed a week in Prague; 19-26 of August 2005. The city is great and also the hotel! The room was large and the people are very friendly. If I would ask them something the gladly helped me. The breakfast is also good. There is a wide selection in bread, sweets, cheese, ham and all that stuff. There is also yoghurt, fruit etc. We had 2 defects in the room (one light wasn't working and I needed a second matrass) both were solved when we came back after 2 hours. This hotel is located only a 5 minute walk from Wenceslas square and 12 from Charlesbridge. You can find anything on Wenceslas square; great restaurants (a good and cheap chinese RESTAURANT; not the bufet; Ru-Yi it's on Wenceslas square next to a squash centre)You have to walk passed Debenhams, terraces, shops and more! Take a taxi from the airport (650 krone; don't forget 10% tip). You should take the grey Volkswagen; airport transfer. Just follow the signs. It's about a 20 minute drive.
