"Fantastic staff, great hotel!"
We have just stayed here for 3 nights, and it has been lovely. The hotel was very clean and the staff were fantastic! All smiles, and helped us a lot. Central location, just a minute off the main shopping area and close to the harbour. We'll be going back to Oslo in a few months and we will definitely go back to this hotel

Stayed 3 nights in Jan 06. Fantastic location, was worried about noise comments but this was not really a problem, all windows double glazed (I also sleep with ear plugs so that will have helped). Hotel has nice ambience, modern, clean and generally of a very high standard. Room excellent, staff very friendly & helpful; buffet breakfast very good (but in small room so it gets busy at peak times. Would stay again.

"Perfect Location within City"
Spent 3 days at the First Hotel Millennium in Oslo, Norway, during the end of July. Great place to stay in Oslo. The hotel is within four blocks of the central train station and the main bus terminal. An easy 10 minutes (or less) walk for all your travel needs. Several city buses stop at the rear of the hotel, to include city bus #30, the route for the Viking Museum and ferry tours. The hotel is also within a 5 minute walk of the harbor, and a 5 minute walk from the main shopping thoroughfare and dining. The stay included a free breakfast buffet each morning, to include cereals, eggs, meats, breads, and fruits. A good deal because dining out in Norway is expensive. The room was nice with a large bed. The hotel placed a roll away bed in the room for our child. We did keep the window open and there was a lot of street noise, but it did not hamper our sleep efforts as we were exhausted upon our return to the hotel each night. This hotel is very convenient for the traveler.
