first class service
A perfect location in town, fantastic help from the staff. In particular, the young male receptionist! advised on where to go (and were to find a cheap (by Norwegian standards!) drink) A great stay at a relaxed hotel. Would definately recommend

"A Pleasant Surprise"
I just returned from Norway and stayed at the First Hotel Noble House as part of the Fjord Pass Accommodations that is sold with the Norway in a Nutshell tour. I was very pleasantly surprised when I arrived at this hotel - my room was actually a suite - living area/dining table, bedroom & bathroom the a jacuzzi tub! Very clean room and bathroom and was very convenient location - a block away from the Fortress and Norwegian Resistance Museum. It is about a 4-5 block walk off Karl Johan Gate and about 6 blocks total from the train/bus station. I paid 625 NK/nite for a single (with single supplement - yuck!) but for about $100 it was more than I expected!
