First Hotel Vesterbro opened its doors in May 1999, as the first newly built hotel in Copenhagen. All rooms are decorated in a classic style with Spanish cherry furniture on parquet floors and equipped with an ADSL connection and PC-safe. The target of the hotel is to be perceived as a second home for individual needs in modern times.
The hotel is a new downtown property, guests may hear this property also referred to as 'First Vesterbro'.
Tivoli gardens is a 5 minute walk away. There are a number of shops and boutiques nearby, aswell as various bars and restaurants. First Hotel Vesterbro is the ideal vantage point for a successful and exciting visit to Copenhagen. |

LOCATION
First Hotel Vesterbro is ideally located in the city center. It is a few minutes walk from Stroget, Europe's longest pedestrian street with excellent shopping. The hotel is 12 kilometers from the Kastrup International Airport, 5 minutes walk from the beautiful Tivoli Gardens and the Town Hall Square where you also find cozy pedestrian streets with a friendly atmosphere, lavish shops, restaurants and cafes.

PROPERTY AMENITIES
* Idun Restaurant:
Named after Norse mythology’s goddess of eternal youth, the restaurant extends into the atrium garden and serves a Scandinavian buffet breakfast each morning. Traditional Danish dishes are on the menu for lunch and dinner, and complimentary newspapers are available.
* Idun Bar:
The street-level lobby bar has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking busy Vesterbrogade and serves a range of snacks including salads, burgers and soups. Traditional Danish smorrebord (open sandwiches) are also available, and guests can take the complimentary ‘grab and run’ breakfast of croissants, pastries and juice.
* The pretty atrium garden is accessed through the lobby, and features red-brick walls with climbing vines, potted trees and plants, and tables and chairs. A spiral staircase leads to the upper terrace, where the business centre is located, and where doors open onto the peaceful inner courtyard during summer.
* Wireless Internet is available in the hotel lobby, where a TV screen displays flight departure times from Copenhagen Airport, and the concierge is on hand to assist with sightseeing enquiries. |

* The First Hotel Vesterbro has 403 rooms spread over five floors. Bright modern decor is complemented by parquet flooring and Spanish cherry wood furniture. There are pencil drawing prints on the walls and all rooms have glass coffee tables, armchairs and bedside lamps. Amenities include air conditioning, high-speed Internet connections, safes, cable television, and minibars.
* Bathrooms have black-and-white tiled floors and heated towel rails; all include hair dryers and large mirrors, and either a walk-in shower or a bathtub with handheld shower. |

We stayed at First Hotel over new year. We found the staff, cleanliness & breakfast all first class also very central position in Copenhagen. The only downside was the size of the rooms, ive never stayed in such a small hotel room before even in New York, and would not use again because of this. |

We stayed at First Hotel over new year, the staff, breakfast & cleanliness were excellent but the room size was terrible, i have never seen such a small hotel room & after 4 nights it started to get on my nerves. Would not count it as 4 star standard! |
