"Lovely hotel-very pleasant staff"
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in March 2006. We had a lovely spacious room with a balcony overlooking Dublin Bay. The hotel was quiet and very relaxing.The staff were very pleasant and helpful.The hotel serves snacks almost all day which is great when you have children with you. Breakfast was excellent and we had a good meal in the Dungeon. If you can, try "The Guinea Pig" Restaurant in the nearby village of Dalkey for an excellent meal. The hotel is within walking distance of Killiney Beach and the DART staions. Take the DART from Killiney or Dalkey to Bray or Howth for stunning coastal scenery. Our 3 year old loved the hotel's pool and he also spent an hour at the creche which he enjoyed. Our only disappointment was that the beauty salon was closed for staff training. We really enjoyed our stay and will certainly go back again!
