"A small hotel, a great value" Excellent location right on a metro station, clean, great value. Delightful breakfast buffet. We took the metro to all important destinations and landmarks and completely missed all traffic hassles. The air conditioning was welcome, the staff pleasant, and all details attended to. For tourists on a budget, this is a terrific place to stay.

"Great family base" My family and I stayed for 3 nights from 26th Dec in a family room. We were a bit worried after reading some of the other comments left on the site, but we were very pleasantly surprised. The room was large, clean and comfortable. All the staff were really warm and friendly. Breakfast was a great buffet with a wide selection. We thought the hotel offered very good value for money. It's not a 5* hotel. You get what you pay for. We had 2 evening meals in the Hippo restaurent, which was excellent - great food and service. Due to the location of the hotel (next to tube station and opposite the brilliant science centre), I would recommend the hotel for families, but it's not really a romantic break type hotel.

"Fine home base" My aunt and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. This was my first visit to Paris. The room was fine, actually larger than I expected, with a full bathtub( wonderful for a hot soak after a long day of walking).The beds were comfortable, excellent buffet breakfast, great water pressure in the shower, along with plenty of nice hot water. The best part was that it was a minute from the metro station, making it very convenient for access to any part of the city. The hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful, especially as there was a large student protest planned for our departure day, and they were very helpful in arranging transportation to the airport for us( somewhat a nerve-wracking experience!!) This is a fine basic hotel, good as a home base for a sightseeing trip. You are not in your room much, just to sleep and shower. I would definitely return here.
