"Great hotel"
We stayed at this hotel as an anniversary weekend break. We chose the hotel because of its location, within walking distance of the Champs Eleysee and all other main attractions. We booked the hotel through Relaxabroad.com as they had it on special offer. Our room was spacious for a city hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We have stayed in Paris before but in a cheaper hotel which was not as good, think its good to splash out when you are only staying for a couple of days. Used Eurostar so the weekend didn't cost too much. Book the hotel you won't be disappointed.

"Well done Franklin D"
We have just returned from a stay in the Franklin D Roosevelt hotel in Paris and really enjoyed our stay. The Hotel is located in the heart of the Champs Elysees area, close by the River Seine, Arc de Trouphe and a short walk to the Eiffel Tower. We found the staff to be very efficient and friendly and the rooms are excellent. We would recommend this Hotel to anyone planning a trip to Paris.

"Very good choice"
We split our time in Paris between the Franklin and a Hotel in the Latin Quarter. We really liked the Franklin, the room was big, staff was very nice. The area was good to stay, close to shopping, eiffle tower and the Arc d Triumphe. Also went to the Crazy Horse show. Area
is less busy than the Latin Quarter but we found it entertaining. There were several good cafes on the block where we ate. For the money this was the better of the 2 hotels we stayed in Paris.

"Cosy hotel in the heart of the shopping area"
spent two nights at the Franklin Roosevelt. Location is excellent if you are there for shopping. Room ("supérieure") rather large for Paris standards, very good bathroom. There was even a small balcony, seating two. The hotel is very quiet and well-kept. Staff is kind and helpful. Cosy bar with good selection of drinks where you can relax in a rather British atmosphere. Plenty of good restaurants in a walking distance. Only weak point is breakfast : for 16 euro, they could provide fresh juice; however bakery and coffee are fine. I would recommend the place to friends.

"Charment!"
My daughter and I recently stayed at the Franklin D. Roosevelt Hotel in Pars (from 11/12-11/14). We cannot say enough about the beauty that is Paris, and cannot say enough about this charming hotel. Though the Franklin D. Roosevelt is located on a small, non-descript side street (rue Clemont Marot), it is centrally located, not far from the Ave. de Champs Elysees, the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and a plethora of restaurants. It is a small hotel, but beautifully appointed and very clean. Our room was spacious, though not palatial, and decorated very nicely. The beds invited sleep; the bathroom was small, but, again, very pretty (plush towels and bathrobes provided). The staff was amazingly helpful, particularly with my daughter's and my tres limited command of the French language, and kind. Room service was incredibly fast; the coffee wonderful, and the basket of assorted breads served with the Continental breakfast fresh and tasty. We were both very impressed with this hotel, and would recommend it very highly to everyone. The price (250 Euros per night) was reasonable, considering the location of the hotel and its ammenities. The three days we spent at the Franklin Roosevelt were all too brief, and greatly enhanced our stay in the beautifuly city that is Paris. Please consider this hotel when you next visit the City of Lights.

Franklin Roosevelt - stayed 31 Dec 05-4 Jan 06
Nice hotel, very central and convenient to the famous sights.
However budget for an extra charge if you want something more than a "continental" breakfast - a roll and coffee - that's included in the price.
The bar is closed on Mondays and on other nights whenever the bar tender feels like it - generally about 10pm
