"Really enjoyed our stay here........."
Just back from a weeks stay at this hotel and i must say (we stayed in the El fuerte Miramar Spa last year) it was a fantastic place to stay, so clean and the staff are first class. I booked directly with the hotel and i got them to organise a taxi pick-up from the airport (which was quite reasonable). The breakfast was very nice, large selection. You can get fresh clean towels each morning at reception for the sun loungers. The pool area is very nice and the nice trees and scrubery around makes the place very pleasant. The indoor pool was nice also and with the beach across the road and so close to lovely restaurants....it is a central location. We went over to Puerto Banus for a day (shopping a bit expensive), but i much prefer Marbella. The room we had, seems to have been just newly renovated, was so clean. I must say i had no complaints about this hotel. As our flight was not departing until around 9.30pm on our check-out day, we were allowed to stay in the room for an extra 50 euros (well worth it!). Overall verdict...........great location, fantastic staff, clean and centrally located hotel.........top class!!

"El Fuerte Marbella - it's a fabulous experience"
I have been to the El Fuerte 10 times in the last 18 months - long weekends, cheap flights great hotel. I fell in love with the place, the position, the people, the staff, the marvellous room overlooking over the sea and after arriving back after a long leisurely dinner at one of the many local restaurants there was entertainment waiting for youin the hotel - either traditional flamenco, singers or just soft music. The staff are great, obviously they are very experienced in all areas of hotel management and always make you feel as if nothing is too much - at check in they always try and get the right room etc., for you. It's not cheap but it's worth it.

This hotel is really beautiful. The rooms are newly decorated, spotlessly clean and comfortable. The corridors are carpeted which cuts down on noise. Mini bar was stocked with tempting goodies. There is adequate sunbathing around the pool areas and a nice outside patio dining/bar area. The location is convenient - a minute from shops and situated practically on the beach. I am not one for complaining about food, but the 1 lunch and evening meal I did have were a bit disappointing. Breakfast was good, the usual massive buffet selection you see in big hotels. Staff serve the tea and coffee. I asked staff ftwice or a second cup of tea but never got it. Another guest also observed that they allowed you one miniscule hot beverage. Take your travel kettle for your early morning caffeine hit and you'll be fine!
