An ideal oasis for an unforgettable Venice experience..
Gabrielli Sandwirth Hotel is located on the largest sea promenade of Venice, offers the ideal atmosphere for a relaxing holiday or business trip. Gabrielli Sandwirth Hotel is ideally situated for visitors to the area and has a welcoming atmosphere with friendly and hospitable service. The hotel has excellent facilities as well as comfortable guest rooms and public areas. The historic Venetian "Palazzo" offers a magnificent view over the city and the lagoon.
The interiors, spacious and elegant, have period furnishings and exquisite Murano glass, in an ambiance typical of the great Venetian residences. Guests from all over the world have stayed here, including Franz Kafka. Polichrome marble adorns the walls and floors of the halls and bar where you can sip not only the typical 'Spritz' but specialty cocktails like the Gabrielli, the Bellini or the Rossini.
On summer days the courtyard in flower is the ideal place to have breakfast or dine by candlelight. In another courtyard is a beautiful well, probably from the late Byzantine era.
But the real jewel of the Hotel Gabrielli Sandwirth is its enchanting garden populated by palms, roses, wisteria pergolas, aquatic plants in antique stone basins, all dominated by two majestic cedars of Lebanon. |

"Gabrielli Sandwirth Hotel was very beautiful"
Gabrielli Sandwirth Hotel was very beautiful. The rooms are huge with beautiful new bathrooms, 20 foot ceilings, priceless views and a second half bath. I assume those who wrote poor reviews failed to do their homework and make this request prior to their stay. The staff was courteous, especially the matriach of the family owned establishment who was happy to chat with us. is a short walk to the Rialto and the Cipriani area and the vaparetto line in front of the hotel goes to Murano. |

"Gabrielli Sandwirth Hotel location is excellent"
Gabrielli Sandwirth Hotel location is excellent. The hotel is just five minutes walk from St. Marks Square, and is surrounded by some excellent restaurants. It is located on the seafront with one of the waterbus stops practically at the front door. We found the hotel expensive but very good. The breakfasts were good, the staff were friendly and helpful, and overall we would probably stay here again. |

This hotel surpassed all our expectations. the location was incredible a wonderful view across St Marks basin, about 10 minutes walk to St Marks square and yet away from all the crowds. We made a special request for a room with a view and we were delighted with our lovely 5th floor room with a perfect view AND a tiny balcony. What a wonderful place to relax and still enjoy the sights. The food was excellent and enjoyed in a beautiful courtyard with trees, flowers and a fountain. The staff were delightful, so helpful and wonderful linguists ! If we are lucky enough to return to Venice I can't imagine staying anywhere else it was truly memorable |
