Good value, nice location
We spent three nights at the Gioberti Hotel prior to a cruise on the Med. and found the hotel to be a very nice experience. Nice and friendly staff, ready to show us to our room even though we were checking in very early, 12.30PM and the room was spatious, clean and very nice. We slept very well, no outside noise and the breakfast was adequate - so-called "continental" but with a lot of different choices. We'd absolutely go back!

Dimitris - Rita !!!Celebrate our first year together....
We booked hotel Gioberti via gtahotels.com and we were very satisfied by it. We have been there for 4 days ,15-18/02/2008 ! It was centrally located close to Termini , very clean , but also quite small rooms !!! The staff was very friendly and polite and because of the bad weather in Greece (our airport El Venizelos closed because of the snow) we had to stay one more night .We had no problem ,we paid 120euro and we get an other room which was just the same as the one we had . I believe that the breakfast was for less than 4 stars ,max 3 star in Comparison with other hotels in other countries i have been , Like Vienni ,Mallorca and especially compare with PRAGUE this was for 2 stars !!! Anyway...,in my opinion if you don't care about breakfast and because of the hot rooms they have i suggest you to go there .Close to termini station ,close to metro station ,close to bus station it's the best place to go !!! In this area(termini area) there are many many hotels you can stay ,so if you don't choose this hotel , choose this area to stay .No fear about robbers ,althoufh natives told us to be carefull !!! We are getting married at 20 september 2008 and we our planning our honeymoon ....Ritaki I love you so much !!!

"Well pleased with this hotel"
Spent 5 nights at this hotel with a group of 9 persons from 5th April 07 to 10th Aril 07 and was well satisified with this hotel. Staff were very friendly,helpful and courteous. Hotel ideally located - close to Termini and close enough to walk to most of the major sights. Breakfasts were really good: cereals, rolls ,croisants, ham, cheeses,breads, yoghurts, tea and coffee and plentiful supply throughout the breakfast period. Rooms were roomy,clean and well serviced each day. Bathroom large and shower was good enough. I would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and would certainly stay there again.

I stayed in this hotel at Easter & i was impressed with it. The rooms were lovely & the breakfast was nice. It was easy access to the termini which was a great help

"Wow! What a great hotel"
This hotel was in the perfect location for five ladies travelling for 4 days to Roma! The staff were polite and helpful at all times. We arrived early and our room was ready, which was a wonderful bonus. We had a late flight going home, but our bags were looked after and we were invited to use the facilities to freshen up before we left. Great resturant at the side of the hotel with well cooked and resonably price food and drink, beware of others as we did get ripped off with 5E for a Sprite at another cafe in the area! Recommend the open top bus for a good all round taster of Rome, you can jump on and off all day. Another good way to get around is to buy a 4E ticket that you can use the Metro and buses all day long! Roma we miss you!!!!

Great experience!
I just returned yesterday from a short stay in Rome. I had a GREAT experience at Hotel Gioberti. The concierges (especially the night shift, Stefano) were helpful in booking tours, calling the airlines regarding the new security measures, suggestions for hotels, etc. They greeted all guests personally, and asked me genuine about how I enjoyed my tours. Room was clean with WebTV (short list of TV stations, though), minibar, nice shower/bath, etc. Bed was a little stiff but reasonable. Windows open outwards to allow you to lean out and enjoy the Rome air. Location is KEY!!! Termini train station is the destination for the FCO train as well as the hub for the Metro trains. It's within a block - GO TO THE VERY END when you exit the station and walk left, the hotel is literally Right There!! There is a fruit stand, a nice little cheap restaurant, etc. on the same block. Pricing was reasonable. Breakfast was huge, with all kinds of choices for breads, yoghurts, cereal, coffee, cheeses, prosciutto, etc.

centrally located, very clean , but also quite small rooms
We (couple) stayed there in June 2006 pro location very central, just other side of termini, room/ toilet very clean rooms seems to recently renovated although street very noisy, window keep noise outside hotel staff quite friendly, breakfast OK con room furniture still quite old rooms are very small, don't be mislet by the pictures
