"Loved it!" We have just returned home from Gold Hotel Buda after 3 days. We stayed in a very nice room. The breakfast was buffet type, and we also tried the restaurant, where you can find both local and international cuisine. The location is also fine, we like walking and it takes about 15-20 minutes to get to the Buda Castle, to the Liberty Statue or to the Pest downtown area. I would suggest to buy the Budapest Card for 2 or 3 days, than you can use the public transportation, enter many museums and get further discounts at many places. We liked our hotel and we would like to return to stay at Gold Hotel Buda again. Regina

"Lovely Family Hotel" We have just returned from Budapest. We stayed 3 nights at the Gold Hotel Buda. I would recommend this place. The room was clean and pleasant. You may also find your favorite channel in the TV. There is WiFi access and parking, both free of charge. Breakfast was nice, the buffet table was always full, and they also do eggs, bacon, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I booked a 3 nights package at the hotel's own homepage and a dinner bonus was also included. There was a good music in the restaurant and we could eat a lot. There is a bus stop close to the hotel, which is two stops from the Vaci street. Only 15 min. walk to the Citadel. If you happy to use the public transportation, you can go anywhere from here. We are absolutely satisfied with our stay in Gold Buda. It was my second visit to this wonderful city and if I return to Budapest I would surely stay in this hotel again.

"Excellent hotel" the hotel was excellant rooms were very clean and the food was exceptional . location was per fect with public transportation 1 block away.I would highly reccommend this hotel
