Golden Sands Hotel is a modern hotel with sea views situated on the beach promenade in the centre of St Brelade's Bay, just two miles from Jersey Airport. The 62 guestrooms have traditional style decor, dark blue carpets, and coordinating patterned fabrics.

"Lovely hotel"
I have just returned from a short stay at the Golden Sands Hotel in St Brelade,Jersey. The hotel exceeded my expectations - our room looked out over the beautiful bay of St Brelade. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was excellent. The hotel is served by a regular bus service which we used daily to see the sights of Jersey. You may like to hire a car if you are planning a longer stay. I took my Mum here for her 60th birthday and I was so pleased at the standard as it was obviously important that she enjoyed it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. St Brelade is beautiful as is Jersey, I hope to return very soon.

"A fantastic hotel"
Me and my wife have just returned from a fanatastic holiday at the Golden Sands Hotel (St. Brelade). The rooms are superb, spotless and are very specious. We had a Superior room with a sea view and balcony. The standard in the hotel is first rate, all the staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is to much trouble. The resort is right on the beach with superb views of the sandy bay. Food in the hotwel is excellent and the bar drinks are reasonably priced considering where the hotel is situated. Just up the road from the hotel towards the church, we discovered the Landmark pub. This pub has an easy relaxed atomsphere with excellent english food and large potions. Many a time we eat there in the evenings due to being B & B in the hotel and wanting to eat out instead of an evening meal in the hotel.

"Exceeded expectations"
I booked a room at The Golden Sands on the basis of it's excellent reviews on this website. It far exceeded expectations. Simply superb location, great rooms (do get a sea view, well worth the extra) and very friendly and helpful staff. We had a standard room on the second floor and it was spacious and airy. Avoid booking room 203 as it's right in front of the lifts - noisy! We had a bar lunch here on our first day and it was delicious. Drinks reasonably priced too. Breakfast plentiful, including cereals, ham & cheese, fruit and the usual bacon & eggs etc. Get to breakfast early and get a balcony table overlooking the beach, just beautiful. While we were in Jersey we ate at Bohemia, Jersey's only Michelin restaurant. £45 for 3 courses at dinner and I can't recommend it enough. Fantastic. Well worth it. We also had dinner at the Salty Dog in St Aubin (10 min bus ride from Golden Sands) and again, enjoyed every mouthful. Do book your table here, even on a Sunday evening, several groups were turned away as they hadn't reserved a table. The food is local seafood often with an Asian twist. Delicious cocktails, and desserts to die for. This was our first stay in Jersey, we'll be back and will be staying at Golden Sands again for sure.
