"Good value, clean and excellent staff"
Stayed here alongside a small exhibition and conference. The rooms are clean and well appointed and staff could not be more helpfull. There are four lifts which are very fast between floors which is useful if you are alocated a room near to the top - 18th floor. At 70 Euro's per night for a single room this was good value and included breakfast - which is OK - a full buffet including eggs and bacon. It is located on a busy road but double glazing worked well. There is a metro station just opposite which was useful because the hotels location is a little remote from the old centre and water front. They have an airport shuttle bus but taxi's are also very cheap - 8 Euro from the airport. I would have liked a coffee machine in the room but other than that a pleasant hotel.

"Good quality, next to the Metro station"
If you like to use the metro this hotel is a good choice, the entrance to the underground is directly next to the hotel.
The trip to downtown takes a while (20min), but the EXPO-area is much better anyway, and this area is just 4 stops from the hotel...
The quality of the rooms was as good as expected, also breakfast was nice, especially considering the rate you can get in the internet.
Internet connection is available, but not for free, there is a computer area where you can pay some online time (3€ for 15 mins, 6€ for 1h, time can be split). The only real minus for us was the missing pool, you have to walk a bit to reach a fitness club... (on the other hand, the pool there is much larger than a hotel pool, has two springboards, and there were only few people besides us using it)

"on the station for the Exhibition"
We stayed at the Altis hotel , because we were participating at the Lisbon Feria ( exhibition ).
We found its place excellent , because the metro station is by the hotel .
Breakfast was very rich .
Rooms were rather mediocre .
Good value for its price .

"Excellant location hotel OK"
The hotel was Ideally located as the Metro station was right outside the front door which is simplicity itself to use 10mins from city centre and 5 mins from Expo site where there is loads of bars and restaurants. The views from the hotel rooms were good looking out over the river. The rooms were very clean and a good size with AC but a little dated. The hallways could do with an update as they have green carpet that smelt a little musty. The breakfast was a bit expensive at 10 euros each for a buffet but it was nice. The door staff were very helpful and friendly although the reception staff needed to learn how to smile.
Overall good value with excellant location and after all you only need a hotel to sleep in!!
