Josefstadt is connected to the historic city centre, the Innere Stadt, which is a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, and all tourist sights of Vienna, the Burghtheater, the parliament, the Hofburg Imperial Palace, etc. are right at hand and easy to reach.

"Ideal Hotel in Vienna"
I just returned from a 5 night stay at the Graf Stadion. The hotel is ideally situated on a quiet side street that is just a short walk from everything you would want to do in Vienna. The English speaking staff was very helpful with booking tours and answering questions. The free internet terminal just off the lobby was a nice touch too. The rooms were fairly large by European standards and although the shower was a bit challenging, the room was spotlessly cleaned each day. I also enjoyed the breakfast room (both the food and the ambiance). Highly recommeded!

My wife and I have just come back home, after a 6 night stay at the Graf Stadion Hotel, Vienna. A very good 3star hotel, it still preserves the nice taste of an early 20th C. middle-class Viennese accomodation (Biedermeier style), sober clean and quiet. Correct and helpfulf staff, speaking perfect English. About rooms, we chose a superior one, that was even too large for two, with a double bed, a third bed, a small table, reading desk, TV and sofa, two big windows (no balconies) and two (very efficient) radiators . Bathroom not so big, 70's style, but very clean. Standard rooms, though, seem to be on the smaller side. Buffet breakfast surprisingly rich and tasteful. The best deal, however, is location: 2 minutes walking from Rathaus (Town Hall), 10 minutes from Hofburg (Imperial Palace) and 20 from Stephansdom (Cathedral). Just around the corner, besides, you can find subway, bus and tram stops. Highly recommended.

"A Cozy, Friendly Place to Stay"
This quaint, small hotel is located on a small side-street quite near many attractions, parks, and places to eat. The front desk was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and clean, and the atmosphere of the hotel was peaceful. Breakfast is included. I would definetly recommend this hotel.
