"beautiful hotel"
Beautiful hotel. Staff and rooms were exellent.Food was wonderful. We took 2 young children and the staff were very kind to them. The only downside was the fact that pavements become car parking areas, and I found it a bit frightenin to push 2 buggies in the road . This however is a fault with the resort, and not the hotel

"Paradise Found"
I spent a week at the Hotel Gran Paradiso in October 2006, and it made my trip to Sorrento one of the best vacations of my life. The hotel was booked for me (by Cosmos) as part of my tour, and they couldn't have picked a better place. The hotel itself is located on a hill that offers gorgeous views of the Bay of Naples and Vesuvius (Oh Vesuvio - how I miss you!), and it's far enough from the main street that traffic noises are non-existent (I miss the music of those church bells, too!). The free hotel shuttle service was very convenient, and the hotel (including guest rooms) was IMMACULATE. And I must tell you about the extraordinary hotel staff: Bruno and the other gentlemen of the front desk were wonderfully helpful and accomodating (thank you for the room upgrade and the extra attentions); Giuseppe, Elio & Salvatore of the dining room were so friendly and gracious that they made every meal a joy; Raffaele portered my luggage more than once (thank you for every effort); the bartenders were excellent (I'm sorry I didn't learn your names); and my cleaning ladies were very friendly and beyond compare (I hope I didn't leave too much of a mess). My only regret is that I didn't get to meet the chef (I may have had to marry him...). In short, I was treated like a princess. I will definitely stay at the Hotel Gran Paradiso again, as soon as I can return to Sorrento (and it breaks my heart to not have my "Torna a Sorrento" wake-up calls since I've returned home).

In July,my family and I had 2 fantastic weeks at the hotel. The view breathtaking, food was gourmet,the staff very friendly,shuttle bus handy and well used,the pool lovely and refreshing,would love to go back next year for more of the same.

"Wonderful place"
I stayed at Hotel Gran Paradiso for one week during easter break. The service was great, Giuseppe the Maitre was really charming and all the other staff were very kind with me and they helped me to organise my holyday in the best way, especially during easter break where Sorrento was very crowded. The view was unbeatable, with its huge terraces, where during the afternoons it's possible to see wonderful sunsets. Alberto the owner was really a gentlemen, he treated me like a queen. I will definetly come back.

stayed at the paradisio twice..i had a great time .it is in a very quiet area but i like that about the place.the staff is really nice...take the time to tell nella'at the bar''hello because she has a great smile but she is a little shy...can't wait to go back.
