"Great hotel-"
Have stayed here 2 times and will again the next time in Rome. Both times we paid just under a $100 American for a room with kingsize bed as part of a package with Alitalia. Nice neighborhood with a lot of good places to eat within a couple of blocks. The rooms are large and compare to what you expect from a good American hotel in the US. New bathrooms. Excellent helpful staff that speaks English. They had a nice breakfast included. The rooms etc. look just like the pictures on this site. From the outside, the hotel is ugly modern architecture, but inside everything is updated. It is a pleasamt 25 minute walk to the Spanish steps, always a lot of cabs in front of the hotel and the bus a block over, but we always walked. Close to Villa Borghese and a lot of nice shops in the area. Hotel concierge is great and will book any tours you want and they will pick you up at the hotel. We have traveled all over the world and always stay in 4 or 5 star hotels and this ranks among our favorites.

"Friendly staff, Comfortable"
Upon arrival for our six night stay we were told that they were overbooked for one night only, due to soccer matches and that we were to go to another hotel, also four star. All transfers were paid, the other hotel expected us and was located better to see the ancient sights. Upon our check-in the next day we were pleased to find our 7th floor room clean and comfortable. Yes, the bath was small but it had a bathtub!! If you have children or prefer baths to showers this is a big plus in Rome. The hotel was also quiet at night. All of the staff were friendly and ready to serve. The maid staff even tucked in my daughters teddy each day! The location seems distant to many of the sights in the Rome but we found walking through the park surrounding the Villa Borghese relaxing compared to the hustle, sounds and smells of the streets. We would definitely consider staying here again.

"Good Value and Comfortable- Recommended"
I agree with all of the above who loved it - in August it is a beatiful walk through the villa borghese to the centre, and once you are there, everything is within walking distance anyway. We loved I Butteri restaurant on Via Regina Margherita, although we wouldn't recommend it for vegitarians! There is even a chinese restaurant next door, which is great if you don't want to walk any more when you get back. Breakfast sets you up for the rest of the day, and once you ahve bought a small bottle of water, you can get refills all over the city from the water fountains - and water never tasted better than when it came cold and sweet from those fountains!

This was a nice hotel in a fun neighborhood. A grocery store is a few blocks away, shopping too as well as a good bar and pizzeria within the block. The cab rides to other parts of Rome were about 10 euro.
