"Great Location"
We moved from another totally unsatisfactory hotel in Barcelona to the Grand Central. The location is perfect! The hotel itself is very dark inside the lobby and passages to the rooms. We had a corner room which was very light. The hotel is very modern and stylish which I loved! The bed was so comfortable I wanted to find out the brand! All the room windows have electric roll down blackout blinds (Great if you jetlagged and need to sleep in the day!) The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a stunning pool right on the top of the hotel as well as a well-equiped gym. The one and only downside is that you cannot open any windows in the rooms and some people might find it claustrophobic... But otherwise I would definately stay there again!!

"loved the hotel, great location"
one of my best friends had gone to this hotel and she recommended me to go so i followed her advice and booked there. i went with my boyfriend and we loved the hotel. we booked the romantic oackage which includes a dinner in the Actual restaurant which is in the hotel and offers very good dishes, lodging in a suite room with champain,chocolates and free minibar!!!they also have a rooftop swiimingpool from where you can enjo great views of the city, it is a bit small. it is located in the city centre near all the shops and cultural places. (ive just written this review but my computer blocked so i dont know if it has been sent)

"perfect stay"
i've just returned from a week off in barcelona and i just can think about when will i go back, it is a nice city where you can do many activities, of course shopping and going to the beach have been the main activities i've done. i stayed at grand hotel central which am very happy with, i recieved a great service in reception, staff was very nice with us and helped us a lot in everything, they recommended us places to visit, restaurants to go, activities for children... the room was very spacious and with everything you need, they gave us a big room in where we could stay with children also, minibar was free and they gave us chocolates and tea as a present in the room. they have a rooftop pool in which children enjoyed swimming and we could relax a bit sunbathing an sip a drink. i recommend this hotel to everyone that goes to barcelona, i will definately repeat the stay there if i return to barcelona

"The best hotel we've visited in Europe "
I surprised my girlfriend for her birthday and took her on a romantic weekend, 4 nights for a long weekend …and we loved it! Fabulous city and a fabulous hotel. We had a romantic dinner in the hotel restaurant and wine and candles in our room. Great location, everything on the doorstep!! The staff spoke fluent English and were very helpful suggesting some cool bars to go for some drinks. Definitely looking forward to going back! We've done quite a bit of travelling round Europe and I have to be honest: Barcelona wasn't my choice, it was my girlfriend's... And i've never been happier to be proven wrong!! The city is amazing, and thanks to the staff we managed to sample all of the great restaurants and bars most tourists know nothing about!! We're already planning our next visit...

We stayed two nights at Grand Hotel Central on business in February. I was very impressed with the hotel. The location was fantastic, only 5/10 mins in taxi to the exhibition centre (and a peak times). Efficient staff on reception, clean rooms, relaxing breakfast.

"Super Swimming pool!!"
This hotel is a modern oasis right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Barcelona. The hotel is situated slap bang in the centre, across from the Cathedral, right beside the Old Quarter…the perfect place to start exploring! The hotel has a modern feel with a super swimming pool on the roof. The pool however is the jewel in the crown, it has amazing views of Barcelona and the perfect haven to relax and read your book in the morning. Our room was modern and spacious and the breakfast buffet had a fantastic range of fresh fruit, yogurts, meats, cheeses and a selection of cooked items also. The staff at the hotel where friendly and helpful. Barcelona is a city you have to go back to and I will certainly be back and to stay at Grand Hotel Central!
