"Extreme value for money - excellent location" Highly recommended!!!Big rooms with excellent view to the sea , nice pool , Superb breakfast room , Helpfull people , convenient location 2 km from city center and next to picturesque villages.The hotel has just been renovated and offers free parking to the guests.Powerfull airconditioning , good do better with the breakfast.Good base for discovering eastern Sicily.Beware of crazy motorists!!!

"Spectacular setting and view" The setting on a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean Sea was simply spectacular. The view was most striking from the breakfast room. It was delightful to sit overlooking the water from a covered terrace while having breakfast. It has to be the best breakfast room I have ever visited in Europe. The food was far less spectacular but still quite acceptable. The hotel is fairly close to Catania and the airport. However, like another reviewer stated it is quite an experience taking taxi's around the area. I am surprised that there are not a lot more accidents. The room I stayed in was clean and very comfortable. Unlike many European hotels the air conditioning was more than acceptable. The bar by the pool was excellent and I truly enjoyed watching the sunset while drinking excellent Spumante (Italian sparkling wine.) This included complementary snacks such as peanuts, olives and pistachios. In Catania itself, I had one of the best meals I have ever had with extraordinary seafood and wines. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Because I was there for business, I only stayed at the hotel one day. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay and would welcome a time when I could stay there longer.
