"lovely"
we stayed for one night with our 3 children 5 yr 2 and 1 yr, had a big room , paid £350 euro .The staff were great , ordered room service and the3 course childrens menu was enough for all of them , the heated indoor pool was lovely and the breakfast fantastic (kids eat free) everything is catered for children without the feeling your comprimises your comfort .Let us have a late check out 2.30pm .It is expensive but you get what you pay for , I would recomment the "kirk douglas cocktail " we hopefully definatley go again

"Fabulous hotel and restaurant."
My wife and I stayed 1 night at the Grand Barriere Hotel, Dinard on Sep. 5th 2006.
This hotel is rated as 4 star but as we have stayed in many 4 and 5 star establishments, we would certainly give this hotel a 5 star catagory.
Our hire car on arrival was parked for us nearby by a member of staff and we were left to register at the hotel with quick efficiency and shown by a reception member of staff to our room.
The bedroom (superior) was on the 1st floor and was large, comfortable, beautifully furnished and with its own small garden and private sitting area. The large balcony on the same floor and just a few yards away, had wonderful views of the Dinard harbour and St. Malo in the distance, plus chairs and tables where you could sit and enjoy the view with a G&T or similar!.
Furnishings throughout the hotel are good and the Restaurant (we ordered from the a la carte menu) was superb. It is not inexpensive but you get what you pay for - al least in this hotel; The service from the Restaurant staff was attentive and friendy without being obtrusive.
We will certainly spend a longer time in this delightful hotel and town next late summer. I recommend it.

"Great Get Away"
Hotel is well situated - a two minute walk from the main hub of Dinard and yet faces the Rance which always offers pretty views. It is comfortable, traditional and not oppressively grand. Our Superior room was quite small which was a little disappointing considering the price. However, the service is excellent and professional. Very nice pool and fitness area. Hotel restaurant excellent for both dinner and breakfast. But best of all was the Kirk Douglas cocktail in the '333' Bar. Highly recommended!
