All of the 217 guestrooms including 160 deluxe rooms and Palace View Rooms and 57 suites such as Deluxe Suites, Ambassador's Suite, Emperor's Suite etc. are elegantly and comfortably furnished. All the furniture in guest rooms of the hotel are made of pear-wood against a background of classical calligraphies and paintings filled with the sentiment of ancient China. Archaic Chinese calligraphy and painting that radiate an elegant traditional Chinese appeal.You can overlook the Forbidden City and the Changan Ave from the Palace View Room. All rooms have internet ports , free use of the High Speed Internet Access, free use of the fax machine. Separate walkIn shower cabinet and a deep bathtub. |

"very well located "
Grand Hotel Beijing is very well located with views of the Forbidden City and 1 block away from a buzzing shopping street.
The rooms were well appointed maybe the carpet was a little old fashioned but otherwise everything worked v well. The outside of the building could do with a facelift.
The front desk staff english had room for improvement but overall they were polite.

Grand Hotel Beijing's room was nice and comfortable. Lovely big comfortable bed and lovely bathroom with seperate shower and bath.
All in all the location was great and it is a very comfortable and clean hotel. It lacks a bit of ambience and a little bit of extra customer service but we still had a very pleasant stay.
