Hotel Cavour is situated in the very heart of Florence, between the magnifinect Duomo and the historical Piazza della Signoria, and within short walking distance of all of the city's most important sights and museums including the Ponte Vecchio, Dante's House and the Uffizi Gallery.

The property, housed in an elegant residential palace which once belonged to the noble Stiozzi-Ridolfi families, features a finely decorated and welcoming atmosphere.

The range of services offered by the hotel include a splendid panoramic roof garden, an excellent restaurant and winebar, meeting facilities, and a valet parking service.

Grand Hotel Cavour in Florence is situated in the historic centre, a stroll from Dante's House, between the "Duomo" and "Piazza Signoria".

* In the breakfastroom "Michelangelo", to be found on the 6th floor, clients can enjoy a rich buffet in a wonderfully serene atmosphere.

* Angels Restaurant & Wine Bar is where past and present meets to create a unique atmosphere. The bar, with delicious snacks, aperitives and cocktails, is opened from 6 p.m. to Midnight. The restaurant features a menu where typical recepies have been update to offer unknown flavours and local products. It is opened from 7.30 pm until 10.30 p.m. The cellar is dedicated to wine, cheese and cold cut tastings and it is opened from 8 p.m until Midnight. Angels Restaurant & Wine Bar is closed on Sundays.

* The hotel has a new meeting center with 3 rooms from 10 to 60 seats, provided with computer connections and particularly suitable for small meetings, seminars or workshops.

* In all the 105 bedrooms, there is individually controllable air conditioniting, telephone, minibar, television, safe. On every floor, there is a bedroom with bathroom especially fitted for handicapped client.

"Couldnt have been better"
Everything about this hotel is great beginning with the front desk personnel who are friendly and helpful all the way to the pleasant breakfast room and nice breakfast. The room was very pleasant, a corner room on the third floor--would highly recommend it. The room was nicely appointed and quite spacious by three star standards. The bathroom also spacious and up-to-date. The interior design, lighting, all the features of the accomodation, very nice. Very highly recommend this well-located hotel

"Pleasantly Surprised!"
After reading some of the mixed reviews on this site, I didn't know what to expect when we visited Hotel Cavour. I'm happy to say that our stay was wonderful! The hotel's location was perfect. It was close to everything, but not on a busy street or in a busy square, so there was minimal noise. The rooms were clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. When we checked in, the hotel was full, but we needed a larger room, and the staff was able to juggle things around to meet our request. As a result, I am getting married in Italy later this year, and have decided that me and my guests will be staying at Hotel Cavour.
