You will find this and much more at Grand Hotel Duomo, the only hotel in the world built with the same marble of the Duomo cathedral, in the carrara. There is a special quarry whose marble is used exclusively for the reparations of the Duomo in Milan. In this hotel, the present is the result of the past melted with the furure. "Room with a view"
We had a lovely room with an amazing view of the Duomo we really could not have asked for more!
We arrived late into the Airport and the hotel arranged for a car to pick us up (extra cost).
It made the transfer to the hotel simple.
The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive.
The hotel is central to every where and being able to look out every morning onto the Duomo and the square below made this holiday for us.

"Roberto makes the holiday"
Stayed at the Hotel with a Friend in November 2005 for a "getaway" from it all break. Hotel was nice and commensurate with it's class rating. Breakfast pleasant. Special thanks must go to the fantastic ROberto in the Bar who couldn't have been nicer and more friendly. It was a joy to spend time with him in the Bar and I would welcome a return trip.
