Grand Majestic Hotel This hotel was not what we expected. From the outside, to the lobby, to the dining areas, it looked like the hotel is not kept up. Also, a bit hard to get to with a car.

"A weekend of culture" Perfect for a weekend of culture and sightseeing. Near enough to the major sights to walk comfortably. Hotel was very comfortable and food was good, although the breakfast was a bit variable.

"Comfort and Location" We stayed at Grand Hotel Majestic on May24 and 25, 2004. The hotel is an older, well established and centrally located facility within easy walking distance of major attractions in Florence. We had a comfortable room; the only drawback was excessive street noise. Our meals there were very good, and we would certainly consider staying there again if returning to Florence.
