"Nice touch"
Grand Park Hotel Bad Hofgastein is the only 5-star hotel in Salzburger Land, and it’s really wonderful.
The hotel is located in Bad Hofgastein – small town southwards from Salzburg (90 km) or Munich (250 km). Bad Gastein and Bad Hofgastein are twin-towns situated near each other. The first one is built on the mountains’ slopes and the second one - in the valley surrounded by the Alpines. So, the view from the hotel is breathtaking!
The rooms are spacious in European standards; each one has a huge balcony or some balconies (in studios and suites) with a table and soft chairs. In bedroom, there are comfy king- or twin beds with excellent linen, working desk, two armchairs with a small table, a flat screen cable TV and a mini-bar. In a big bathroom, there are bath tug with shower, hair-dryer, weight-scale, bathrobes and slippers. The room cleaning is twice a day – in the morning and at a turndown service.
The Restaurant is excellent - service and food are second to none. The customers got “personal” tables which are decorated daily with fresh roses. Nice touch.

"Loved the Grand Park"
Grand Park is the only 5-star hotel in Salzburger Land, and it’s really wonderful. I would call it a nice pearl hidden in Austrian Gastein. Style, Esprit, Respect and Comfort – these are the main peculiarities of the Grand Park. From the first minute, I felt there home away from home due to friendly and respectful personalized attitude of the staff – from drivers to managers. I got no idea how, but they made me thinking that it was just me whom they had been waiting for. That’s great, first of all because follows the forgotten traditions of the European resorts.

The Grand Park Hotel, as a rule, offers a half board accommodation. At a symbolic extra charge, a full board accommodation is also available. Breakfast buffet is very good. Five-course a la carte dinner is a real gourmet experience. Daily “five o’clock tea” (from 3 to5 pm) in the lobby presents a choice of home-made delicious bakery for free.
But the main hit of the hotel is its Vital Oase Spa. It’s superb, especially a huge panoramic indoor pool with thermal water, sauna and Jacuzzi. Besides, it’s the only place in Bad Hofgastein where the customers are able to get a course of natural radon baths combining with a variety of special Spa treatments - different kinds of massages, cleansings, facials, wraps, etc., etc., at appropriate price.
And the last one: the hotel provides its guests with free roundtrip transportations to the famous Gastein Healing Galleries (Alpines’ radon caves), that’s very convenient for customers staying at the Grand Park.
No doubt, next year I’ll come to The Grand Park Hotel again.

"Great location, great hospitality, great skiing!"
Stayed here for a long weekend Fri-Mon and had a wonderful stay. The hotel is minutes from the main ski lift, a bonus after a full day skiing! It was my first skiing trip for twenty years although my partner is a regular, and the facilities in the resort were really easy to access. The main funicular takes you to a choice of cable car or chair lift in to some fantastic skiing runs, I found the majority of red runs ok and there was plenty of easier slopes to. One tip if you need to hire gear was to get it from the main lift area then you can leave your shoes etc to pick up afterwards, instead of walking in your ski boots. I hired skis and boots for 45 euros for 3 days, not bad.
The hotel itself is very clean and the food is a real treat with traditional service, the buffet breakfast has a lot of choice, plenty to keep you going and dinner a set menu 5 plus courses, starters from the buffet.
Great job, keep it up ! we will be back
