"A real bargain" A group of 6 of us stayed at this hotel for 5 nights before heading south through Thailand towards Singapore. We were a little sceptical at first because of the bargain price of £19 for a superior room. We reached late in the evening to be greeted by superbly friendly staff. There is a roof top bar with panoramic views of the city, and an excellent restaurant open to the public. The staff are friendly at any time of the day or night, rooms are clean, comforatable and big. Location is good but not the greatest... about a 10 minute walk from the Grand Palace and other major attractions and 5 mins central china town. However tuk-tuks n taxis r easy to get as the hotel has dedicated staff for that exact job! On the downside the bathrooms r a little dark and walls a little thin but for the price and service this hotel is a definate winner. Id definately stay there again.
