Comfortable
The Grand has every basic need you will require - apart from tea and coffee making facilities in the room, which is a shame. The single rooms are adequate, which huge bathroom. Breakfast caters for all needs. A very comfortable stay. Please note only English speaking channel is CNN!

Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis!
Vis a vis vom Hauptbahnhof, am Eingang zur Brünner Altstadt gelegen, kann ich dieses Hotel nur empfehlen! Um 46 Euro die Annehmlichkeiten eines 4-Stern Hotels (inkl. gutem Frühstücksbuffet)genießen, ist für mich als Vielreisende unschlagbar.

Good but....
The Grand is in an ok position, right in front of the bus station and with the train station to the right. Ask for a room at the back as it can be a bit noisy at night. Breakfast is good, plenty of choice. The room was good, a sitting area with separate bedroom and bathroom, nice selection of toiletries and clean and tidy. There is a minibar but the costs are astronomical! £4 for a can of Red Bull! Only English speaking channels on the TV are CNN & Eurosport with an occasional film. Internet access is expensive at £10 approx per day or approx £4 per hour. Facilities are limited and after a few days here I am ready to leave....

It was ok
My room was located in the back along the street, my gosh it was so noisy! I could heard people throughout then night talking and walking. The hotel is nice and the peopleare wonderful. The food is great (buffet breakfast) Don't get a room in the back facing the street you will regret it! Great location for travel it is across the street from everything!

Great hotel
I had a great time in Grandhotel Brno, the hotel has everything to make you pleasure. First of all, it has an excellent location just across the train station and at a walking distance to the city centre. The rooms are decorated in an antique feeling but with modern standarts, the staff is very helpful and fluent in English. The hotel serves a fabulous budget breakfast, so everything is ready for you to enjoy your holiday. I recommend this hotel to every one.

Nice hotel
I enjoyed staying at the Grand - it was very warm even though it was snowing outside, the bathroom was beautiful, and the single room was just large enough. I will be staying there again next month, so just shows that I enjoyed it.

"Great hotel, enjoyed our stay"
We stayed for 2 nights in May 2005. A great hotel. Its location is excellent – just across the street from the train station, and within easy walk to the city centre (nam Svobody), etc. Rooms were spacious and clean, with a really “old time” feel – wooden paneling, high ceilings, etc etc. Breakfast was included and was excellent. All in all a great hotel and we would definitely stay there again.
