Great House Inn, built in 1927, is the magnificent colonial style residence, the largest classic wooden home in Belize, and a reminiscent of early colonial days. There are large verandas for relaxing, both at the front and rear of the house.

The guest rooms are color coordinated, have lovely hardwood floors and comfortable appointments. The Courtyard Restaurant and collection of fine shops make "staying home" fun.

The Smoky Mermaid in the courtyard set in the lower garden offers cuisine from both Central America and the Caribbean.
