The hotel rises against a gentle slope, overlooking a tranquil cove, at the foot of a dramatic cliff, capped by the Temple of Poseidon.

LOCATION

This resort is located on one of the world�s most celebrated archaeological sites and is fabulously secluded amid a natural pine forest. Beneath the imposing temple, private villas rise along stone-paved paths shaded by olive trees and pines. Grecotel Cape Sounio strikes a delicate balance with the environment by using natural materials extracted from the earth - clay, bronze and stone.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* Conference facilities on the ground floor connect to a private patio designed for al fresco coffee breaks. Directly above, the lobby and the main lounge spill out on a broad terrace with portico, where guests can relax in plush armchairs.

* The octagon-shaped glass-walled Elixir Spa is set among a pine grove on a blunt cliff over the sea. A juice bar, restaurant and beauty salon are added amenities for a complete spa experience.

ROOM AMENITIES

* The rooms are dotted around a hill and are a mix of what they call bungalows and villas. The bungalows are one large room with a balcony which has a great view across the pool and the bay and temple. There is a floor to ceiling divider than can be pushed back. Behind the divider is the basin and behind that a bath with large shower head. The toilet is the only area not in "open plan" and is in a small room with large frosted glass door.

CANCELLATION POLICY

1. No penalty for cancellations up to the defined cancellation deadline of this hotel.

4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
