Nestled in the village of Tuban, Green Garden Beach Resort & Spa is designed with discerning travelers in mind. The Resort is located a few steps from sandy Tuban Beach, South Kuta, with its clear, calm water protected by an off-shore coral reef.

Kuta attractions (Discovery Shopping Mall, restaurants & pubs, Waterbom Park, Kuta Art Market, etc) are within easy strolling distance. A few fishermen’s boats are also available nearby for surfers who would like to take the famous Kuta Reef challenge.

LOCATION

Green Garden Beach Resort & Spa is located 1.5 km (1 mile) from Discovery Shopping Mall and 2 km (1 mile) from Kuta Art Market.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* For a different dining experience with privacy, the staff recommends gazebos, designed for couples up to 8 persons. Balinese calls such gazebos as "Bale Bengong" - many found in traditional villages - thatched roof huts for relaxation, light snacks to full dining, or just for a cup of coffee between the love ones or among friends. The café is built on wooden stilts with casual atmosphere, offering an exotic range of exciting Indonesian favourites with Western flair. Barbecue & grill are popular at dinner. The café is open between 07:30 - 23:30.

* Extensive spa facilities and services are available on site such as outdoor warm Jacuzzi, herbal steam aromatherapy rooms, spa cottages, gazebos, etc. In-house guests are entitled for unlimited use the spa facilities. Spa services are available with generous discounted prices and are reserved for in-house guests only.

* Just a few steps from the resort rooms, a swimming pool with cascading waterfall and an outdoor Jacuzzi await to be enjoyed. Sun lounges and gazebos are also available around pool area. A child pool is attached to the main pool under waterfall.

* Each air-conditioned room is luxuriously appointed, boasting spacious bedroom and marble bathroom with large bathtub, large refrigerator, Cable TV with over 30 international channels and 24-hour movie channels, IDD phone, personal safety box, hairdryer, electric jug for coffee/tea making.

* All rooms have private balcony overlooking swimming pool, cascading waterfall. Some beach view is seen from the top floor rooms.

Lush bougainvillea and parigata are planted along balcony fence, shadowing the seating area from afternoon sun and giving privacy & comfort to guests.

"Best Kept Secret in Bali - 4 Star Hotel at a 2 Star Price"
Hands down, this is the best US$45 hotel you will find. My girlfriend and I spent 5 nights here in November and highly recommend this hotel. Though we were a bit skeptical given the price, we quickly realised we had found an undervalued gem and a great deal for what the hotel had to offer. The complex itself is quaint with only 15 guest rooms, a large lagoon style pool, an excellent restaurant, and a great spa. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. We had an exceptional room on the 5th floor with a nice balcony overlooking the pool and an ocean view. Walking into the room brought huge smiles to both of our faces, as it was considerably nicer than what we were expecting. The room had marble floors door to door, even a marble toilet and a large marble bath tub. The large window between the bathroom and the bedroom was also a nice touch, though equipped with curtains to preserve modesty when desired. Other extras included satellite TV, safe, refrigerator, etc. We concluded that the only reason this was not a 4 star room/hotel was due to the lack of complimentary toiletries. The hotel's spa advertised itself as "Probably the Best Spa in Bali" - it is probably pretty close given the value. A 1-2 hour massage goes for around $10-15; a three hour package around $25. Hotel guests get a good discount on spa treatments and you can probably find a free massage with the room if you shop around on Bali/Asia specific travel sites. Unlike many other hotels, the restaurant prices were competitive with non-hotel establishments. The rooms come standard with a pretty good breakfast. We ate lunch and dinner here several times given the convenience (room service no extra charge). There a couple of nice restaurants on the beach nearby within a couple of minutes walk. Location wise, the Green Garden Resort is in Tuban Beach - 10 minute walk to Kuta along the beach. While the hotel is not adjacent to the beach (another reason it is 3 star and not 4), it is right across the street. This is a great base to surf the reef off Tuban, although Tuban is not the prettiest beach in Bali - lots of stray dogs and hawkers ( 'You want sarong' )roaming around. All in all, you are going to get a 4 star hotel for about $45 a night. We left the Green Garden to stay at the 5 star Meridien Nirwana in Tannah Lot (also highly recommended) and nearly went back to the Green Garden after a problem with our room - the Meridien sorted it out, but we would not have been disappointed had we left.

"Great hotel"
Lovely hotel, large but cosy rooms with reasonable balcony, huge bed and bathroom. Nice and very clean pool - everything is very clean there for the Balinese standard. Good resraurant and very helpfull staff. We hope to return to this lovely place once more!
