Thistle Victoria Hotel is a very nice hotel. It has great acess to Gatwick airport with the gatwick express. You can enter hotel from train station. It is also a terminal for all the under ground tubes making it ideal for sight seeing and a way to get to other rail stations. English breakfast was great service was good. Will stay there again next time i go .

"Thistle Victoria Hotel is in a wonderful location"
Thistle Victoria Hotel is in a wonderful location, convenient to everything. My room was tiny, and I mean tiny. However, it was clean and functional. We did not use any hotel services except the bar for drinks, which was nice. |

"What a treat"
When they found out that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary at front desk they jumped for joy. Nikki and Maciek from reception were lovely. They upgraded us to a beautiful suite with really high ceilings. The bed looked very regal. I felt as if I was in a fairy tale. They even sent us a bottle of champagne!
Our suite was always clean and we would return in the evenings to find our bed turned down, hot chocolate and marshmellows waiting for us by our bedside table.
The afternoon tea served in the lounge is phenominal and the service that goes with it is great. The bar staff were friendly also. Breakfast was not included in our package but we did take it everday. The buffet was always laid well and and service speedy and efficient.
The one thing that annoyed me was that they did not have a gym in the hotel. We were offered to complimentary use to one that they were affiliated with but we declined.
Overall...........A wonderful stay, we will definately be back

"great location"
The Thistle Victoria is a very nice hotel in a great location. Our rooms were very pleasant, and so was the staff. The hotel is located near the underground and the buses, and is within walking distance of Buckingham Palace and Westminster Abbey.

"very nice hotel"
we arrived on the 26th May we were unable to check in early but we could leave our cases there. There were a few people at the desk with complants but eventually we checked in. Our room was on the second floor and true the communal areas are very nice and grand the bedroomas are small which is what you expect in london the full pice rate is not worth it but we booked last minute the bathroom is not grand and it is small but functional. At Breakfast there was some confusion as to where people shuld sit and you woule need to get there early to aviod queuing. Service was slow but got there in the end. Overall it was very nice weekend and very close to all routes with a bus stop out side as well as a side entrance striaght in to the station. We had a room that faced the room and the noise was minimal.

"Great Location"
What a delighful & charming hotel ideally placed within 10 minutes walk of the eiffel tower and very close to shops and restaurants. My wife and i stayed here for our wedding anniversary and enjoyed it very much. Very polite and helpful staff who spoke very good english. We stayed on the top floor and the rooms are very clean but a little on the small side. However for a short break in Paris this was a lovely place to stay. I would definately return.

"Dripping with Hospitality and Romantic Vistas"
August was a quiet time in city, while the Parisians are out on holiday, the visitors of Hotel Jardins d'Eiffel are given the opportunity to soak up the charm of Paris. A few steps away from the hotel are Metro Invalides, Champs Elyssess and then some, the lightshow of the Eiffel Tower included. The appeal is much deeper than location, although the surrounding restaurants around exceed even a 20-somethings expectations, the concierge service was uncomparable to anything I've ever experienced: free internet, cheap Moulin Rouge reservations, knowledgeable directions to just about anywhere, and just by chance free museum passes. This hotel will leave you enchanted by the romantic allure of its surroundings and then wanting more, and more. The room was perfect, shower is just big enough, the beds medium-hard, and the TV, even had a recall button. But, beware, not all rooms are "sound-proof" as advertised, and the cabs to and from Charles de Gualle aren't cheap. Get room 409 and you will not be disappointed with the view and balcony bars.
Overall: Hotel Jardins is a great place to begin or end a romantic getaway, a 10.

"Highly Recommend"
My now fiancee and I spent 5 nights staying at the Hotel Jardin d'Eiffel in early August. We had a wonderful time and both were very pleased with our stay there.
I booked our stay through venere.com, which I found to have the best rate. After booking our stay through the website, I emailed the hotel requesting a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. They responded quickly and stated that they would try, but could not guarantee anything. They were able to get us a view and it was pretty incredible (see pictures).
The room was not that large, but it was adequate, and possibly larger than what you can typically expect from Parisian hotels. During our stay, were were greeted by staff as we left and returned, and the cleaning staff did an excellent job of keeping the room clean.
We also found this to be an excellent location. The Rue Cler neighborhood has a lot to offer and isn't as busy as other areas. The hotel is also within walking distance of many attractions and has a metro a little over a block away.
I would definetly stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone else.

"Loved this hotel"
We stayed at the Thistle Victoria for seven days and were very happy with the service we received. The concierges were extremely helpful and friendly, as was the rest of the staff.
Our breakfasts, which were included with our stay, were very good.
Best of all was the location--we were centrally located to most of London's top attractions and were located at Victoria Station. We didn't even need to go outside to get to either the tube or the train, and there was an indoor shopping mall right there as well.
We'd stay there again in a heartbeat!
